I know Apple has corporate overlord energy for a myriad of reasons…but I do love the way they give a big middle finger to genAI in all of their brand identity shoot behind the scenes…

"zoning" freaks are so ideologically cucked and are fucking shit up for all of us. Life is better in every conceivable way with bars and restaurants that look like houses sprinkled throughout the neighborhood. It's part of what makes other countries feel "magical" to us.

The Vanoss Crew is renting out a mansion in Miami for two weeks to film GTA 6 videos, and Rockstar have been asking about it. “We have a good relationship with the guys from Rockstar, and they’ve already kind of asked,” Terroriser tells @GamesBeat. “They know about the event that we’re doing, and they were messaging me the other day, just trying to get names of who’s going to be at the event.”

Yeah, it used an AI powered program they wrote, trained on libraries THEY made specifically for it to aid with a very tedious part of animating. It's not generative AI. When will people learn that the problem is generative AI and not AI-powered/assisted tools?

Apu was originally an illegal immigrant who went to America seeking a better life. He studied, earned a doctorate in computer science, became a legal citizen, became a small business owner, becomes a volunteer firefighter, becomes a husband and a father to octuplets and ultimately stands as a cornerstone of modern Springfield. The embodiment of the American Dream. But his voice actor put on a fake accent, so that made him a racist caricature and he had to be removed. They FINALLY get a new voice actor for him and bring him back, only for the episode to accidentally play into the Indian trope of filth and feces by having him want to destroy all of the toilet paper... AND HIS NEW VOICE ACTOR IS STILL PUTTING ON A FAKE ACCDENT! WHAT WAS THE POINT?!

It's also kind of a nothing burger of a claim. Daft Punk get asked to do so many things and turn them all down because they don't make music as Daft Punk anymore so like...fork found in kitchen

@_Kxsper In 2017 they removed him from the show because of this "Problem with Apu" documentary pointing out "culturally inappropriate" things about Apu like the voice actor not being Indian. But now enough time has passed that they can bring him back with a new voice and nobody will gaf

Apu's new voice has been revealed. It is the first time the character has spoke in almost a decade.
