@lovesosaa888 True. But don't think it's easy for foreigners to settle in compared to the other countries you listed.

Agreed. It's nice but people on social media, especially jeet content creators and whitoids on Reddit have hyped it way too much.

@sab57290 It's fine for a one time visit. My situation is a bit different traveling with a toddler.

@bvlldhist_ @bronchomon Despite the superb public transport network, most people on it look buck broken and depressed. Atleast 50% imo.

@bvlldhist_ @bronchomon They must have. Haven't come across any tho. Most establishments I've visited have locals and tourists from all over.

@bvlldhist_ Absolutely. The good ones are cold, some are straight up hostile. My experience is majorly driven by the fact that I'm carrying a toddler. Lot of anti-kids people. Especially on the metro and in some small restaurants (which is basically all the Japanese ones).

@bvlldhist_ Countryside is nice. People, scenery etc I have main beef with Tokyo residents.

@DelayMeter_IN Tech is a little backwards at times but manageable. Fine on the other two metrics also. People (esp Tokyo) are the weak link in my anecdotal experience.

@MananNarain @4lokissake 100% Even for tourism, I'm getting a vibe that it's a good one time visit that's all. Even tho lot of people revisit or day they will.

The cost of mutton in Patna is 1000/kg. It was 740/Kg in New Delhi.

@4lokissake I mean it's not a comparison with India. I'm comparing it with other developed countries.

Facades of Ginza. Insane playground for brands and architects to showoff and one up each other. The glass bricks on the Hermes Building (#1) will stay in my head rent free.
