AIM this morning have left government strategy to community Pharmacy in tatters.The revelation that pharmacy closures have resulted in around 2.5M additional GP appointments is proof this policy is increasing burden on GPs not relieving. Ditch this lunacy before it’s ditched 4U

Capped funding = more pharmacies less income, and we are struggling with constant clawbacks and 40% reduction in our income

@dervisgurol @ComPharmEngland @IPCNetwork The biggest issue the service is throwing up is the position of the "gateways" - needs urgent attention We are doing significant amount of free triage to a much more detailed level compared to the essential service for advice and self care. This needs to be funded as well.

Time for a vote of no confidence in the executive team at @ComPharmEngland . A total waste of a webinar which only exposed the inherent weakness at the heart of cpe. Cp is collapsing all around us and they have the audacity to say margin system is fine? Really! Sack the lot.

@ComPharmEngland What’s happening with medicine supply shortages? Basic lines are at extortionate prices in some cases 1000% over DT. There has to be an end to this unfair reimbursement. Businesses are running at significant loss with no light at end of tunnel.

The increase in level of abuse & violence toward #pharmacy teams by some members of the public is very concerning. Recent example below during #Christmas period. Pharmacies have continuously kept their doors open offering accessible care, they deserve outmost support &respect.

Managed to find one wholesaler selling penicillin liquid today and ordered some. However, it is costing us £11.78 per bottle but we get reimbursed £2.08 from @DHSCgovuk! This is why pharmacies have had enough as we can't give the service we want to patients whilst making a loss!

We have concerns about @NumarkNet new patient app. For an organisation which claims to champion independent pharmacy its attempt to switch patients to its online offer away from numark members is disingenuous at best. Urgent rethink needed before you end up with a revolt.
