It's heartbreaking to hear about the passing of Mixlas. Let this be an important reminder that mental health matters. If you ever need someone to listen or someone to talk to, please don't be afraid to reach out. You never truly know what someone may be going through, so always try to show kindness, compassion, and love to one another. Losing someone is never easy, especially after all the people we've already lost over the years, including those we admired and looked up to. Good evening everyone. I know it is unexpected to see me return after being inactive for a bit, and I want to thank you for the patience, understanding, and quiet support during that time. I am doing alright overall, and tonight I came back because the twenty fifth will always hold a special place in my heart. Even though we did not plan anything the way we hoped, I’m sorry for that. I still wanted to share something meaningful with you all, so here is a small doodle made by @SleepyMochiZz to go along with this moment. Today marks the three year anniversary of Indie Horror Talk. It is hard to fully express what that means to me. What started back in 2022 when I was just seventeen, unsure of myself and still trying to figure out the world, has grown into something that has changed my life forever. This little podcast that was never meant to become anything big turned into a home, a family, and a place where creativity, passion, and love came together in ways I never expected. Every episode, every recording, every late night conversation, and every memory we built together has shaped IHT into what it is today. Thank you for believing in me at a time when I had almost no support, especially when I was still in high school and my life was shifting in ways I barely understood. I never imagined I would find a community this loving, supportive, and accepting. The respect you have shown me, the trust you have given me, and the kindness you have shared are things that will stay with me for the rest of my life. Being welcomed into your world for this long means everything to me. To all the friends, guests, supporters, and amazing people I have met along the way, thank you. You all are truly awesome.
