Labour really want to lecture Glasgow about workers jobs? This is the same Labour run council that introduced the 2006 pay scheme at the heart of Glasgow’s equal-pay scandal. A dispute that has now cost the council £765m in settlements. Around £38m in legal/representative fees was associated with the 2019 settlement. Now, after eight years of negotiations, 24,000 workers are caught in the latest row over fixing that legacy.
