RIP Handling of commercial explosives is hazardous. Just imagine how the OFB workforce daily handles multiple times Hazardous Army Explosives. Always ready to make them available to Armed Forces, daily putting their lives to extreme risk, never demanding anything in return.

With indigenization level of over 97% in ammunition items, OFB has almost no dependence on foreign countries. Ordnance Factories are a true example of “Make in India”. In 2018, OFs issued indigenous T90 and T72 Tank Engines to Indian Army. @LaxmanKBehera

Army never came out openly about the poor quality of ex-import Ammunition by them. Who should be blamed for the loss? Rectification and Re-working is permitted in imported Ammunition, double standards of acceptance criteria?

Multi Mode Hand Grenade named as "Shivalik", manufactured at OFK has successfully cleared first TBRL and then DGQA Evaluation Trials and thereafter User Trials at 3 places I.e., plain, hills in Sikkim and desert..

ऑर्डनेन्स पैराशूट फैक्टरी कानपुर में MIG Bison लड़ाकू विमान के पायलट के पैराशूट पूर्ण सतर्कता से बनते देखे। मुझे बताया कि निर्माणी के पैराशूट में आज तक ऐक्सिडेंट नहीं हुआ। यह जान कर भी अभिमान हुआ की राष्ट्र गौरव वीर अभिनंदन ने भी OFB का parachute इस्तेमाल किया था । सलाम OFB
