Hundreds of advocates from around the country lie down with blankets in front of #SCOTUS. If they were in Grant’s Pass, they would give you a $295 ticket for sleeping with a blanket. #housingnothandcuffs #johnsonvgrantspass

So excited to see @AmandaAndere speaking to the crowd. 'I have a concern - sometimes people of faith forget that faith means radical love and hospitality. A loving god does not ticket and arrest people who have nowhere to go.' x.com/i/broadcasts/1…

Housing not handcuffs! #HomelessnessIsSolvable

“I have hope because the solutions to homelessness are possible when we welcome our neighbors inside. When we look around our community for spaces not being used and say ‘That could be someone’s home.’” - @AmandaAndere @funderstogether
#HousingNotHandcuffs#JohnsonVGrantsPass

#SCOTUS is hearing oral arguments on #JohnsonVGrantsPass. Arresting and fining people for sleeping on the streets is ineffective and keeps people homeless for longer. There are alternatives to arresting people that communities can act on now. #HomelessnessIsSolvable

How do we know what works? Because we see it working for veterans, in Milwaukee, Houston, Newark, Chattanooga. Housing and supportive services work. "Our leaders need to support what's proven to work." - @annymoliva #johnsonvgrantspass

Criminalization is not a solution to homelessness. Arrests, fines, jail time, and criminal records make it more difficult for individuals experiencing homelessness to access the affordable housing, health services, and employment necessary to exit homelessness #JohnsonVGrantsPass

🚨If #SCOTUS rules in favor of Grants Pass, it will authorize cities and states to punish people forced to sleep outdoors with arrest and steep fines, even when they have no other safe option. We need housing solutions, not fines 🏘️. #HomelessnessIsSolvable #JohnsonVGrantsPass

TODAY: #SCOTUS is hearing oral arguments on #JohnsonVGrantsPass. Arresting and fining people for sleeping on the streets is ineffective and keeps people homeless for longer. There are alternatives that communities can act on now. #HomelessnessIsSolvable
