Further, they are insisting payment of interest and penalty today itself, no where it is mentioned to pay interest immediately prior to applying for Amnesty. Does not paying interest for 75(12) amounts to complete rejection of Amnesty application?

@cbic_india GST officers are insisting on payment for GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B mismatches despite orders passed u/s 73. As per CBIC Circular, recovery under Sec 75(12) is outside Amnesty scope. Kindly clarify to avoid taxpayer hardship. #GST #CBIC #GSTAmnesty @FinMinIndia @haldiaarpit

Only 2.14 Lakh ITR 5, 0.91 Lakh ITR 6 & 0.15 Lakh ITR 7 are filed till date There are lots of error & bugs in all above ITRs which is making filing difficult & time consuming Hope @FinMinIndia @IncomeTaxIndia extend due date much in advance so professionals do not waste time
