I am not a fan of R Scott Clark for myriad reasons, but I will read his stuff if it’s poignant. However, within the first two paragraphs he says Edwards was an American... shows how futile the rest of his article will be; he was an Englishman in colonial England. He was not an American. America didn't exist.
