I not only understand that there is a need for change, but I also see a path to victory for South Carolina Democrats. As your next SCDP Chair, I will use my experience and relationships to be the difference maker and ensure we elect Democrats up and down the ballot. #DayOneReady

At the Richland Democratic Party Chairs Forum, I spoke to the audience about my 46 county plan to support our county parties, my fundraising plan for the SCDP, and the need to build a SCDP ready to host the first in the nation primary.

With first-in-the-nation status, SCDP needs a chair with the experience and relationships to succeed. Full stop. That's why I'm proud to have the endorsement of my good friend and mentor Jaime Harrison. amp.thestate.com/news/politics-…

Our Party Chairs are some of the strongest in the country. I am proud to have their backs - because without county parties the state party is unable to do the work needed to fight for a better future for our state.

Thanks Charleston and Berkeley for coming out to learn more about my bid to be the leader of our state party. I am grateful to Ed & Aimee Sutton for hosting me at the Starlite Motel for this event! We are going to build the strongest SCDP we have ever had.
