They’re wrong about creating with your sexual energy. When you’re habitually horny, you know sexual energy and creating art don’t feel quite the same in the body. Sexual energy just is. Creating art is performing. The sacral chakra is the most feminine chakra. It’s water. It holds space. It’s a container. It doesn’t do anything. But once you release(act), the is libido gone. Acting puts you in a masculine energy, which is the solar plexus. A person with a lot of sexual energy is a person with a lot of relaxed energy. Being horny and being creative don’t feel the same. Being happy and being horny feels the same. It’s a sensorial experience. Your sacral wants reception not creation. Making art is not a replacement for reception.

Over the years, I’ve noticed depictions of Capricorn with a knot in its tail. Knots can represent many things but generally symbolize the power to bind and loose. The binding dynamic reminds me of Saturn's classic correspondence with restriction and limitation. In India, knots traditionally correspond to gods of death, which also relates to Saturn’s rulership of the sign. As an earth sign that rules The Devil card, I found the following quote about knot symbolism more than appropriate: “On a spiritual level, loosening bonds means freeing oneself from earthly attachments in order to live upon a higher plane.” You'll notice that the two figures tied to the Devil's pedestal are sometimes seen with restraints around their neck just loose enough to escape from. Capricorn’s tail relates to its aquatic nature, which is fitting given the fact that tying a good knot is a skill sailors and fishermen are known for. Interestingly, a couple of Capricorn’s alternative designations were once “The Double Ship” and “Ship of the Rope.” There’s plenty more to unpack regarding the knot and how it might relate to Capricorn, but this will do for now.
