ESKOM HUNTS FOR A STRATEGIC PARTNER Eskom has launched a process to find a strategic partner for the 1.5GW Tubatse pumped-storage project in Limpopo, which is expected to become South Africa’s largest energy storage facility. The project will be capable of storing 21GWh of electricity and generating power for up to 14 hours during periods of high demand. Tubatse is a key part of Eskom Green, the utility’s renewable energy division, and is designed to support the integration of more wind and solar power into the national grid. Eskom says the project is already well advanced, with land secured and environmental approvals in place. Full story - ln.run/oByvD Pictured - Rivoningo Mnisi, Eskom Group Executive for Renewables

(1/3) Judgment to be handed down on Wednesday, 7 October 2026 at 10h00: Are post-commencement creditors entitled to vote on the adoption of a business rescue plan under the Companies Act 71 of 2008?

Met a guy at a strip club in Atlanta who said he's never had a job in his life Thought he was a drug dealer. He pulled out his phone and showed me a Chase business checking account with $940,000 in deposits for the year He buys and sells government surplus The US military throws away $7 billion worth of usable equipment every year. Humvees, generators, forklifts, tool sets, office furniture, shipping containers, medical equipment, clothing by the ton. It gets classified as "surplus," moved to a warehouse, and auctioned to the public for pennies The website is govplanet . com. Also govdeals . com and publicsurplus . com Last month's receipts from his phone: 3 military diesel generators: bought for $4,200 total, sold to a contractor in Nigeria for $28,000 40-foot shipping container from a Navy base: bought for $2,800, sold on Facebook Marketplace to a farmer for $6,200 Lot of 200 military-grade sleeping bags: bought for $640, sold on eBay in individual listings at $45 each = $9,000 Pallets of MREs (Meals Ready to Eat, not expired): bought for $1,100, sold on Amazon FBA in cases of 12 for $89 each = $12,400 total Used HMMWV (Humvee) titled for road use: bought for $8,500, sold to a rancher in Texas for $24,000 Gross margin across his operation: 55-70% He finds auctions ending in the next 48 hours, bids on items with low competition (the key is categories most resellers ignore: medical, industrial, and construction), wins at wholesale, and either ships directly to the buyer or stages at a rented yard His startup cost: an LLC, a $2,500 box truck he bought at a different government auction, and $15,000 in 0% business credit cards for his first round of purchases He funds every auction buy on 0% cards. Wins the lot on Monday, lists it on Tuesday, sells by Friday, pays the card from revenue. Card utilization cycles between 0% and 30% and resets every week. Score stays above 750 because the money moves fast enough that statement balances are always low He now runs 60,000-90,000/month through the cards, earns 2% cash back on all of it (1,200-1,800/month in free rewards), and hasn't paid a dollar in interest since he started His biggest single flip: a decommissioned ambulance with 40,000 miles. Bought at a county surplus auction for $6,100. Stripped the medical equipment (sold separately for $3,400). Sold the van to a guy converting it into a camper for $19,000. Total revenue: $22,400 on a $6,100 buy. Same day listing, sold in 9 days "why don't more people do this" Because the auction sites look like they were built in 2004, the listings are written in military jargon nobody understands, pickup locations are on active bases that require paperwork, and most items don't ship, you drive there and load them yourself Every barrier to entry is a barrier keeping your competition out. The guy who's willing to drive a rented flatbed to Fort Hood on a Wednesday and load 3 generators in the rain makes $24,000 on a trip that scared everyone else away met him at a strip club tipping twenties and his entire net worth was built on garbage the government didn't want anymore lmfaooo (we get 700+ score business owners 100K-250K in 0% business credit. what you buy with it is your move. link in bio)

Politicians like Julius Malema hate to see videos like this Wife is Zulu and husband is Venda They are teaching each other their languages Down with tribalism down ‼️

We keep seeing the same assumption in SA sports: “Affluent South Africans follow rugby. Football is the mass-market sport.” So I looked specifically at the affluent audience. The latest data actually makes football look VERY interesting. A thread 👇
