In 1973, college girls in Santa Cruz would get into a stranger's car and spend the ride guessing what the killer looked like. The driver was the killer. His name was Ed Kemper. Students had been warned to accept rides only from cars with a university sticker. His mother worked at UC Santa Cruz, so he had one. He was 6 foot 9, and his IQ had tested at 145. At 15 he shot and killed his grandparents. He was released at 21, against the advice of the hospital's psychiatrists, and in November 1972 his juvenile record was erased. By then he had already killed three times. The day after he killed a 15-year-old girl named Aiko Koo, he sat in front of a panel of psychiatrists for a parole check. They found no reason to consider him dangerous. He had wanted to be a cop, but he was rejected for being too tall. So he drank with cops instead, at a bar across the street from the courthouse, and asked them how the investigation was going. Kemper says a detective once came to his house to take away a gun he wasn't supposed to have. The loaded .22 he had used in the murders was under the front seat of his car. A purse, a book bag and the IDs of his last two victims were in a box in his bedroom closet. The detective left thinking he was a nice, helpful guy. In the video below, recorded in prison in 1984, Kemper tells these stories himself. In April 1973 he killed his mother and her best friend, then called the Santa Cruz police from a phone booth in Colorado to confess. They thought it was a joke and told him to call back later. He asked for death by torture and got life instead. He is 77 now and was denied parole again in 2024. Psychiatrists, cops and the girls in his passenger seat all looked at him and saw nothing. Who was supposed to stop him?

Zero evidence for this. @moneyordebt and I are writing a book on quantum computing, AI and the threat to Bitcoin, that is real but manegeable. A book written by physicists that understand the topic not some random business person.

🚨Chamath Palihapitiya believes Bitcoin will get hacked and go to ZERO. Chamath says if AI is aimed at crypto, the obvious target would be "Satoshi's wallet," to "drain the wallet and then go short." What's your take?

He killed two children. 15 years later, they let him out He killed 11 more 1972,New York. Arthur Shawcross murdered a 10-year-old boy and an 8-year-old girl Prosecutors made a deal: show us where the boy's body is,and you'll only be charged with manslaughter for the girl. He got 25 years He served less than 15. Paroled in 1987 15 months later,in Rochester, women started disappearing He had a wife and a mistress, and he picked up women on the street "I guess I could say I was enjoying myself" He hung out at Dunkin' Donuts with the cops hunting him and listened to them talk about the case He was caught only when a police helicopter spotted a body under a bridge. His car was parked right on top "Are you evil?" "Somewhat" "Do you feel anything for the families?" "I don't have any remorse. It's not there" Who's responsible for those 11 women: him,or the people who let him out? 👇

Completely acceptable to do a peaceful protest outside the Colosseum, but breaking into/vandalizing the Colosseum (or our Capitol like they did in January 6th) is not unacceptable. Tourism is a critical industry in Paris and Rome, so there is an argument that anyone disrupting it should face some additional penalties — like blocking the Bay Bridge in SF

Chaos in Rome. Masked rioters storm the Colosseum, forcing the entrance barriers. "Peaceful protest" they say. Unbelievable.

RESEARCHERS CLAIM SERIOUS FLAWS IN TAILSCALE, A TOOL MANY BITCOINERS USE TO REACH THEIR NODES A new report says users with approved access through Tailscale's built-in SSH can take root control of machines, and the attack can spread to other devices on the network. If you run a node through Tailscale: - Turn off Tailscale SSH - Update when a patch ships Tailscale has not yet responded.

‼️ Researcher Erica Windisch skipped coordinated vulnerability disclosure and published 11 unpatched Tailscale flaws. In her lab, Tailscale SSH race conditions let one hacked device get root on other servers and add a rogue node.

Just a fun night out with Islam around. So fun.

🇺🇸Unbelievable, listen to what happens when you are infested with Islam. This is a warning to parents in American.🇺🇸
