There is a common misconception among doctors and nurses that they have a general duty to report patients and colleagues for illegal activity (eg, undocumented status). We do not, and one's duty to care for people is actually incompatible with thinking or acting like a cop.

ICE agents cannot enter the private spaces of a clinic or hospital without a proper warrant naming specific areas. All patient care areas are private spaces. Do not allow ICE to enter without a warrant. Do not share any information with ICE about yourself, patients, or coworkers.
