A fourth publicly shown Geran-5 interception by the STING S has now been released, bringing the overall number of publicly documented Geran-5 interceptions by Ukrainian drones to nine. Developed by @wilendhornets, STING S currently has the highest number of publicly shown Geran-5 kills among the interceptor types seen so far. The footage here shows only STING S engagements. Two of its four documented Geran-5 interceptions were carried out by drones purchased with funds raised by @sternenkofund foundation/community.

Russia continues to attack the civilian infrastructure and places that make everyday life possible across Ukraine. This morning, a Russian drone struck the Pivnichnyi Bridge in Kyiv. In Sumy, Russian drones attacked a pharmaceutical warehouse, killing one person. In Dnipro, a communications facility was struck. Six people were injured as a result of today's attacks. Overnight alone, Russia launched 135 attack drones against Ukraine, more than 50 of them jet-powered. Kyiv and the Dnipro, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Sumy, and Zaporizhzhia regions were attacked. Residential buildings and critical infrastructure were among the targets, and power outages were reported in some communities. And this terror has continued across Ukraine throughout the week. Russia has used more than 1,900 attack drones, 1,700 aerial bombs, and 25 missiles against Ukraine. More than 800 of those drones were jet-powered. Russia is escalating its attacks and must be held accountable for it.

The Ukraine war is taking a very ugly turn Russia is now more blatantly than ever seeking to bomb Ukrainian civilian targets in the capital Kyiv in a barbaric attempt at intimidation.

Ukraine's USF say their "Crimean Switch Off" operation has knocked out 456 power facilities in occupied territories and Russia over three months, including 44 in the past 10 days, across Crimea, occupied Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Kherson regions.

❗️A Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter, using American GBU-62 guided aerial bombs, strikes an assembly area of Russian Armed Forces assault groups.

Ukrainian air defense currently shoots down about 50–55% of jet-powered drones. F-16s and 20-mm ammunition for them play a significant role in intercepting such drones. Ukraine is working to secure 5,000–6,000 such rounds per day and is negotiating support from partners, including Poland, France, Norway, and Finland. The highest interception effectiveness is currently demonstrated by Bars jet-powered interceptor drones, which are also used for long-range strikes. In addition, to strengthen Kyiv’s defense, turrets – automated combat modules for machine guns – have begun to be installed. Drones attacked Russia's Khanskaya military airfield in Adygea overnight on 4 October Locals reported an attack and a fire at the base near Maykop, and NASA satellite fire data confirmed a blaze in the airfield's area, Militarnyi reported. The airfield, about 500 km from Ukrainian-held territory, housed a training base of Russia's Krasnodar military flight school, and Ukraine's General Staff said Russian forces actively used it for operational-tactical aviation.
