I was right about the direction on a run of winning trades and still closed near breakeven. I had too much size on. I was so sure about a bigger target that I kept holding. Price pulled back and the gains went with it. These days I take a small partial at 1:3 and only add size once a trade is already working. Being right about direction isn't enough. Your size decides whether you keep it.
