Fitz and Whit both are extremely impressed by Kirk Cousins and the Raiders even after a few losses “I just wanna give a shoutout to Kirk… how is he doing this?”

Deron Williams apologizes to Damian Lillard after doubting that he could still average 20pts per game anymore “You go ahead and do your thing. You go ahead and average 25." "I want to apologize because this is my dog, too, Dame Lillard. Because what had happened was, I had said something about him not averaging 20 points a game." "And it was good for him, like, you know, older, you know what I mean? I'm sorry. You going to definitely average 20. Your game is timeless, my brother. You could still shoot that rock." "Coming off the injury he came off of, I'm going to give you your flowers today.” “Also, Haliburton. Both these boys came off of two of the worst injuries you can have, missed a whole season, and came out balling." "I didn't think Dame was washed. I just said, kind of like LeBron, where he don't have to do as much now. You go ahead and do your thing. You go ahead and average 25." ( via @ToTheBaha )

Peter Scully was an Australian crminal sentenced to life in prison plus 129 years. His victims were children. The youngest was just 18 months old. He held young girls captive, subjected them to horrific abse, filmed his crimes, and distributed child exploitation material to offenders around the world. After fleeing Australia, he operated in the Philippines until authorities finally arrested him in 2015. When they caught him, prosecutors from 60 Minutes to the FBI called him the most depraved individual they had ever encountered in over two decades of law enforcement. In the video below, a reporter from 60 Minutes Australia sits face to face with Scully inside a Philippine maximum security prison - and describes it as the most disturbing moment of her 26-year career. She refused to watch his videos before the interview. She said once you see something like that you can't unsee it. Colleagues who did watch them were visibly traumatized for days afterward. Sitting across from him was worse than she expected. He was smug. Arrogant. He smiled at her questions. When she asked about remorse he paused, looked her in the eye and said: "That's a good question. Well done." She walked through the house afterward. Up the same stairs those children were taken up. In broad daylight. With a police officer beside her. She said even that was enough to make her skin crawl. There was a shallow grave in the yard. Interpol. The FBI. The Philippine National Police. It took three major law enforcement agencies to bring him down. What finally broke the case was a single local officer following a gut instinct nobody else believed in. The reporter said she got to go home after the interview. She wasn't sure how long his smugness lasted after she left. Some people sit across from you and you understand immediately that the word "monster" was invented specifically for them.

WESTSIDEEEEEEEEEE #raiders #raidernation LA WEEK 🏴‍☠️

I hope the Raiders re-sign Tre Tucker this offseason. We’re asking him to be a WR1 right now, which he isn’t, but I think he could be an excellent WR2/3 alongside a true WR1. Elite speed, reliable hands, and improving route running. I think he can be a big part of this team’s future

👇Who has been more impressive this year? Mayer or Tucker? #Raiders

For the first time in 8 YEARS, the Lakers won’t be playing on NBA Opening Night… The LeBron effect is REAL. 👀

Kirk Cousins deserves more credit for how the Raiders season has started: 🏈 14 TDs (tied 1st in NFL) 🏈 5 INTs 🏈 1,582 pass yards (5th in NFL) 🏈 3-3 record Losses include: 🤯 Undefeated Chiefs (5-0) 🤯 Josh Allen and the Bills (5-1) 🤯 Defending AFC Champ Patriots (4-2) Don't sleep on Las Vegas 👀

Penta reveals that he has NEVER said no to a photo unless absolutely necessary. He says it’s important to be attentive to the fans especially the children cause you have to show them that you care. Penta says he could never walk away from a fan without doing something.

50 cent went live CRASHING OUT after Dj Akademiks says on his podcast he was with Daphne Joy on MULTIPLE occasions at hotels and restaurants while he was still dating her 😬👀 “That n*gga had me on his podcast whole time he was plotting to take my b*tch” “He lucky I’m not the old n*gga I used to be”

Kevin Durant says James Harden had the tools to be a good defender but never locked in — and needed a coach like Pat Riley to make him accountable “If he had a coach like Pat Riley that held him accountable, that made him play different ways, and an organization like that, that instilled in everybody different — yeah, he probably would have locked in and been a better defender.” “I feel like playing with James, his first 3 years he was looked at to guard for us. He’s capable. When he came into the game he had to guard the best two-guard. He had to guard Kobe, you know what I’m saying.” “I felt like — and you can just look at how athletic he was — like he has the tools to be a good defender.” [ via @UnguardedPod ]

Ashton Kutcher put $500,000 into Uber while his wife begged him not to. Mila Kunis called it “the worst idea ever.” By 2016, Forbes put that stake at around $50 million Kunis wasn’t being dumb. She was being close to it. Her family left Soviet Ukraine in 1991, when she was seven. In Los Angeles her father, an engineer, drove a cab to feed them. So when Kutcher described Uber - a cab company where any stranger picks you up in his own car - she didn’t hear the future. She heard a threat to the only work that had kept her family alive. “You’re going to put me in a car with a stranger? What is wrong with you?” Then he told her about Bitcoin. At the start of 2013 it traded under $100. Her instinct was the one everyone has in front of real money: “Is it FDIC insured?” His answer is the whole lesson. “No. That’s the point.” Here’s the rule hiding in that exchange: the comfort you feel about an investment is the price tag on its upside. “Insured,” “safe,” “guaranteed” - someone already took the risk out, and the return left with it. The more it soothes you, the more of the gain is already gone to whoever was willing to be uncomfortable first “I think this is a horrible idea,” she told him. “Cool,” he said. “We’re investing it.” By April 2021, when she told this story, Bitcoin was over $50,000 - more than five hundred times higher than where she’d begged him to stop. And here’s the trap worth remembering: the person best placed to judge a new thing is usually the one it’s about to replace. Her father drove the cabs Uber killed. Her “no” sounded like experience. It was a vested interest in the old world. The smart people who love you will talk you out of the best bet of your life in good faith - because they’re grading tomorrow with yesterday’s rulebook She takes Uber everywhere now and books through Airbnb - another bet Kutcher made early. “I’ve never been happier to be wrong,” she says. So keep two things before you ever sign anything. One: if it feels safe, the upside has already been paid out to someone else. Two: the loudest, smartest “that’s insane” usually comes from the person with the most to lose if you’re right. $500,000 became $50 million because one of them could hold a feeling the other couldn’t. She didn’t lack money or brains. She just didn’t want to get in a stranger’s car

Travis Barker reveals how a simple, routine visit to a young doctor in San Diego to get his tonsils removed completely changed his life and forced him to quit smoking forever. Travis Barker: "I have a friend who's like a cool young doctor named Dr. B in San Diego. He actually removed my tonsils, and then like a week later I found out I had what was called pre-cancer, Barrett's esophagus" "I said, what does this mean, Dr. B? Should I just kind of like tone down how much I'm smoking? He's like, no, this means like this is your warning shot, like pay attention, stop smoking" Joe Rogan: "Esophageal cancer is a rough one, too. That's what killed Christopher Hitchens. Once you get it, you get it and you're gone, basically. I think Hitch said like 95% of the people get it" Travis Barker: "Yeah, so I felt like he's always pretty honest with me. I just stopped. I love CBD, that's pretty much what I mess with now, but that's all"

Giannis Antetokounmpo says Jason Kidd banned him from shooting jump shots to push him to attack the rim, and he still doesn’t know whether following that advice helped or hurt his career “There was times that J-Kidd told me, ‘You got to learn how to attack,’ because at first I was scared to attack… ‘You got to find angles. You got to be able to play the pick-and-roll better. You got to post up better.’” “So he told me not to shoot jump shot at all. And it was Jabari at the time or Michael Carter-Williams at the time, young players were like, ‘No, that’s not happening. We’re going to shoot threes, we’re going to shoot twos.’” “And I said, ‘Okay.’ And did he help me or hurt me in my career? I don’t know. Time will tell.” “But I was willing to do whatever it took for me to figure out things within the game, to be in a position one day that I can control the game.”

“I don’t think that the league office wants me in (the Hall of Fame)” -Al Davis on October 28, 1991. Just over 9 months later, he was finally inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

In retirement, Tom Brady is Raiders over Patriots — all day, everyday. Patriots fans are not happy.
