I've seen this play out many times now. Highly leveraged players in Silver and Gold (read articles about leveraged Chinese retail trading futures and derivatives in Shanghai losing 80% of their account when the metals puked) get liquidated. Now it's Korean players getting liquidated in the KOSPI limit downs. When those players get flushed out, those markets almost NEVER return to highs immediately and even if they do, they are met with waves of selling. For the markets to get to those levels in the first place it took huge amounts of leverage and retail piling in. Those players have been carried out in body bags. The price isn't coming back to those levels for awhile. Something to keep in mind going forward.
Will also note, if we do get a correction. A 12% pullback from peak on SPY takes us back to Feb 2025 highs right before the tariff bear. Seems impossible given how badly so many names have been beaten up. Nothing is impossible in markets!
Optical is the last leading sector standing. Memory looks done for awhile with all the major players losing their 21emas and with Korea (SK Hynix and Samsung) collapsing limit down overnight. Space is holding up well. That's all I see right now.
I was down slightly in February and down small in March. Time to slam the brakes. I would overtrade in the past. Not going to make that mistake again.
Better off coming back too small and late rather than large and early.
These corrective periods can last for very long periods of time, don't underestimate them, protect yourself.
I make money in trending environments. No trend, no money for me.
QURE. Stopped out at the open on 11/3/2025 @ $23.05. Just closed at $10.05 today. We always remember the times we were shaken out and the stock goes higher. Don't forget the times you get stopped out and it goes much LOWER!
I've personally never seen anything like it. I remember VIPS in 2013-2014 had insane growth numbers and I'm sure SINA/SOHU/NTES in 2003 had monster numbers as well.
I don't know if SNDK will break out or not from this potential High Tight Flag. I do know that when shorts pile in (like Citron) that does provide the potential fuel for a large move higher IF a break out occurs.
"Any time drawdowns approach a certain threshold in a given month, they flatten everything and start fresh at half their normal size or less. They don't increase size again until they're making money. This might sound extreme to many of you. That is because most people can't do it"
Reminds me of the Minervini quote "everyone wants to be a market wizard until it's time to do market wizard shit."
IF the QQQ were to have a rip roaring rally from around these levels like 1996, there’s really only one way. NVDA has to lead the way. MAG7 raised capex spend significantly going forward. NVDA earnings on Feb 25th.
IF PLTR were going to rally back to the 200dma, I imagine it would start pretty close to these levels. Selling off back to Feb 2025 high levels. An undercut and rally back above it would make sense to trigger a rally.
