NEW: A 2023 Hornets vs. Pelicans basketball game is under investigation, where Terry Rozier allegedly tipped off friends that he would leave the game early. During the 2022-2023 season, Rozier was averaging 21 points per game. According to the federal grand jury indictment, Rozier told a friend that he would "prematurely remove himself from the game in the first quarter due to a supposed injury and not return." Rozier took himself out of the game after 10 minutes of play due to a "foot injury." He scored only 5 points. Bettors who took the "over" that Rozier would score more than 21 points lost. The people that Rozier allegedly tipped off, however, won big. His friend Deniro Laster allegedly shared the information with others who placed a total of $250,000 in prop bets. NEW: Swedish court refuses to deport refugee after he r*ped a 16-year-old girl because it "did not last long enough." Meya Aberg, now 17, is speaking out as her attacker, Yazied Mohamed, was sentenced to just three years in prison, according to La Derecha Diario. The court determined that the r*pe "did not last long enough" to be considered an "exceptionally serious crime." Aberg was walking home after her shift at McDonald's when she was attacked and s*xually assaulted in a pedestrian tunnel by Mohamed. "R*pe, in many cases, is considered an exceptionally serious crime that could justify the deportation of a refugee," the court reportedly said in its ruling. "However, each case must be evaluated individually. NEW: Annunciation Catholic Church shooting victim Sophia Forchas welcomed back by her classmates after making a "miraculous" recovery. Forchas' family says Sophia was saved by "the mercy and intervention of our Lord Jesus Christ." Doctors were shocked by her recovery, as noted by CBS News, considering Sophia was not expected to survive. The 12-year-old girl was shot in the head and placed in a medically induced coma. NEW: Firefighters rescue a three-month-old puppy that got stuck between two large boulders in Ramona, California. The puppy, Zoe, was heard crying as the firefighters tried freeing her from the crevice. "Arriving with technical rescue gear, the crews worked carefully and methodically," CAL FIRE said. "Using pneumatic air bags, ropes, and hoses, they created just enough space to free Zoe without shifting the rocks too far or causing injury." "The team pulled Zoe free, muddy but unharmed. NEW: Hundreds of high school students line the hallways of an Alabama hospital to say goodbye to their classmate as she heads into surgery to become an organ donor. 18-year-old Kimber Mills was shot at a party over the weekend. Mills was shot in the leg and head, allegedly by 27-year-old Steven Tyler Whitehead, after a fight broke out. Mills did not know Whitehead, who has since been charged with m*rder and three counts of attempted m*rder. The high school cheerleader was taken off life support on Tuesday.
