The final totals for what the Base2Base riders achieved 🚴🚴🏻♀️🚴 Over 800 miles in distance and climbed higher than Mount Everest (which is a mere 29,025 feet!!!) The page is still firmly open so please please dig deep and spare whatever you can for this important cause.
WE DID IT!!!! 🚴🚴🏻♀️🚴 What an unbelievable welcome in to NPAS St Athan! All NPAS Bases covered and well over 800 miles!
Day 9 - the final day! Only 55 miles today to St Athan. What a journey it has been across the country and today will be the last one. Gloomy start to the morning and potential for thunder storms later however I have gave our riders some key advice... pedal faster 🚲😂
Day 8 complete. 80.19 miles from NPAS Exeter to NPAS Almondsbury. A tough start today. Tired and dripping with fog until the sun arrived after 4 hrs. Then we managed a good pace despite the heavy legs and heat. Things hurt we didn’t know could hurt but with the end is in sight.
Day 7 of Base2Base. 88.19 miles. NPAS Bournemouth to NPAS Exeter. By far the hardest day yet with intense heat and the steepest climbs yet, one after another after another. Gruelling but we still have the cause at the forefront of our minds and the target in sight.
Day 7 - Setting off from NPAS Bournemouth this morning. Another kilo of sudocrem applied ans they're off for a 86 mile ride to NPAS Exeter.
At Bournemouth Airport — Day 6 completed. NPAS Redhill to NPAS Bournemouth. 104.72 miles. 31+ degrees and 9 ‘categorised climbs’ done but it was a constant up and down all the way. Your ongoing support and donations is spurring us on thanks 🙏🏼
Day 6 - 105 miles planned today with some long and steep climbs and 32 degree weather forecasted. 5am wake up, a lot of voterol, painkillers and sudocrem and we were met by an unreal sunrise at NPAS RedHill! Riders left at 7am to take on today's challenge!

Day 5 is underway, another early start due to the hot weather, only 72 miles today so should be a breeze for the riders 👀😅 A lot of sore bums and backs however the motivation and determination is stronger than ever as they continue around the country. 400 miles down 400 to go.
Day 4 done - Birmingham to Husbands Bosworth to Benson 107miles in 29* heat ☀️
Day 3 done - Hawarden to Birmingham in the hot sunshine ☀️ 94.5miles

Day 2 done. Carr Gate over the Pennines to Barton and then on to Hawarden to finish.
