Finally got a resolution to this last night. My son found someone to speak to at @SunwingVacay, quoted the new refund regs from Canadian Transportation Agency, & managed to get a full refund. It really shouldn't be this hard, but thank you to all here who advised us - it helped!

@SunwingVacay I sent a complaint via your website, one week ago, and have yet to hear from anyone from Sunwing. I tried re sending the complaint but now it’s saying there was an issue submitting my request. How do I escalate this? Or at least have someone reach out to me.

@SunwingVacay Extremely disappointing. We are a family of 4 and your reps are telling us that we only paid for 2 people. It feels like we were mislead/scammed. I shouldn’t be stressed out on my vacation. Booking a dune-buggy excursion shouldn’t be this complicated

Anyone else experience this? 2nd Christmas in a row screwed by @SunwingVacay They just cancelled my sons Dec. 31 ticket Orlando-Toronto. They won't give full cash refund, won't rebook alt flight at same cost. He must buy premium upgrade. Thats illegal! @AirPassRightsCA @WestJet
