Absolutely AGREE with Carrick here 100%. I know we should've signed more players last summer, but squad depth/personnel is definitely NOT why we're so bad this season. Tactics, physicality, and mentality are the biggest problems we have this season, and that's down to the MANAGER. Not signing a left back is NOT the reason why we couldn't beat 10-men Man City, nor could we see the win out against 10-men Tottenham. Our owners are shite and have to go, but what about the lack of identity, patterns, and tactics on the pitch?

Anyone believing Man Utd’s results & performances this season are down to the fact they haven’t got a back up left back & another striker are deluded.

Lisandro Martinez’s view that Michael Carrick has been sold short and the squad has not been equipped with the depth to fight on multiple fronts is shared by several senior players - and football staff. It has been discussed in the dressing room with the club aware of frustrations around recruitment. There was a fear ahead of the campaign that the squad would not be strengthened properly - the lack of cover at left-back and striker were major concerns, which is evidenced in how much the need for reinforcements was stressed during pre-season interviews. Told the driving reason behind Martinez’s airing these grievances publicly is fury that Carrick is likely going to lose his job despite not being given the tools to have a fair crack, and players are sick of reset after reset, without questions asked of the people in charge and what direction they’re taking the club in. Carrick and the team have faced criticism, accepted it, and owned up to performances being nowhere near good enough. Where is the accountability from the people who keep leading the club to one doom spiral after another?

FINALLY - someone saying it as it is….. You can bet your bottom dollar what Martinez said is the voice of more than one player. He had the balls to stand there and say it. Ex players still connected to the club (Rooney etc) condoning him. No shock there. Wilcox - fucking useless. But he doesn’t set a budget on transfers Barrada - fucking useless. I spoke to city fans connected to their club when we signed him. They were ecstatic he was going. Say no more Ratcliffe - fucking useless. Busy taking the Manchester out of Manchester United whilst funding his own vanity project with his Wembley of the north. Leaving the team high and dry. Glazers - this is were the buck stops. They sign the cheques. Clubs being asset stripped and mark my words as soon as it’s permitted they will be taking dividends out the club again. A turnover 90% of the PL would die for yet still making a loss annually. Debt interest rising. It’s never going to change. Fanbase - fucking useless. Match going fans can’t be arsed to protest, whilst getting shafted at every opportunity by the owners. Online fans can’t be arsed to protest for more than a day whilst pointing the finger and blaming everyone else. Take a fucking look in the mirror! The space cadets will be in full swing no doubt full of financial, tactical and physiological experts shouting into their phones. We spend like a mid table team, wage bill of a mid table team. That’s what we are. Just accept it. Nothing will change. Peace out ✌🏻

To the players, they worked very hard last season to finish 3rd. They thought the club would sign the players to go for the title this season. They see their friends at other clubs going for the title every season and competing for CL every season. Players who played a pivotal role for us last season have every right to be asking serious questions from Jim and Glazers.

If Licha is coming out to say this, it's 100% a sentiment shared by other players in the squad, especially the senior players. 100%

Lisandro Martinez has broken the fourth wall tonight. He's exposed the PR and spin of the last few years by saying exactly what the fans think. The club won't be able to bury this. Certain people's positions are untenable.

Spot on. Carrick will lose his job but those above him need to take the blame. The Glazers are the ultimate issue but those making football decisions for INEOS need to be in line too. They've failed since they've arrived.

🚨 Lisandro Martínez: “I expect more from our technical director”. 💣 “If you don’t change, next season it’s a big problem”. “You keep changing managers but what about other areas?”. “It’s easy to say coach, players, but also we have to see others?”, says via @NathSalt1.

It’s absolutely nailed on United sack Carrick mid season. Another season wasted. Another season starting again. The cycle continues forever.

🚨 Manchester United have now 6 points in 6 Premier League games, only 1 win against Ipswich at home and 0 wins in their last four games. The worst Premier League start in United history since 1986.
