it’s wild that people think vegans have some hidden agenda. we simply don’t want animals to be used, abused, exploited and murdered. it’s as simple as that and people think that that alone is bizarre and vegans *must* have some other ulterior motive

I keep hearing that Canada is divided on vaccines. But we’re nearing 80% of the entire population with at least their first dose. We are probably more divided over Nickelback collectively as a country then we are over vaccines. This is a very vocal minority.

Some people will see this ⬇️ and dismiss it saying, oh that's a big city, we're not like that. Please stop. Think about what this means, the lives lost and futures cut short. Because our systems and priorities are failing people, failing some people even more than others.

Can’t believe that today a gynaecologist told me that a hysterectomy wouldn’t be considered as an option for my debilitating period pain on the off chance that I divorce my wife, my sexual orientation changes, I meet a man and decide I want children 🙃🙃🙃

When I was a resident I once had a patient in ICU who died from complications of a tooth infection. I think about her lot 10 years later, and how we pretend to have universal health care but millions of Canadians can’t afford to see a dentist and this one died because of it.

#DRUGALERT We’ve received reports that an unknown substance is circulating in the #Halifax area. It has led to a number of overdoses, including 2 deaths. The only description we have is that the drug may be being sold on a blotter (small squares of paper, typically used for acid)
