Observations on the Supplementary Budget: A supplementary budget is a budget made for very important national welfare needs of the people which were not captured originally in the main budget, or do not have adequate funding.

Example no 1,055 of why Nigeria has no actual elite to speak of, but rather a bunch of rich dunces who think at the exact same level as your average Rafiu at the mechanic village in Ojokoro: The Hawker 800XP aircraft with the tail identifier 5N-AMM and serial number 258286 that crash landed in Ibadan with the Minister of Power onboard is operating illegally in Nigeria with the full knowledge and participation of the NCAA. This aircraft has no permission to operate commercial charter flights as it is registered under a Permit for Non-Commercial Flights (PNCF). This is the permit given to private non-commercial aircraft, and it is cheaper and easier to obtain than a commercial Air Operator Certificate (AOC), because the NCAA rules for private aircraft operation are less stringent than those for commercial aircraft. Flints Aero Service, the company which operates it, is also operating multiple aircraft under PNCF permission and using them to carry out commercial charter flights. Some of these aircraft include the Hawker 800XP with the tail identifier 5N-ALG and another Hawker 800XP with the tail identifier 5N-AMK. flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/… flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/… PNCF holders don't have to pay the 5% regulatory fees that AOC holders are required to, and the regulatory requirements for pilot training, ground staff training and aircraft maintenance are also less strident because PNCF aircraft are not under any circumstances supposed to carry paying passengers. Senior NCAA personnel (you know yourselves) take a cut of the revenues from these illegal commercial flight operations to keep this whole scam going. Now a sitting cabinet minister who may or may not know about all this has almost died in an accident on an illegal, unlicensed commercial flight run by his fellow "elite" who was willing to risk his life to save some money, and was enabled by top ranking NCAA staff who will inevitably try to cover this up by hanging the blame entirely on Flints Aero Service. Honestly, I kind of wish he had died. Maybe only the death of one of their number will force the so-called Nigerian elite to think long and hard about whether running a country in such a disastrously primitive and selfish manner for the sole and exclusive purpose of exploiting everyone and everything for pitiful amounts of profit will work out for everyone *INCLUDING THEMSELVES* in the long run. A class of moneyed subhumans!

The integrity and independence of a country’s Judiciary goes deeper than many think. It is in fact everything in a constitutional democracy and so we must not allow politicians to destroy our Judiciary without a fight. Take the matter of economic prosperity. It is impossible for a people to prosper without attracting investments into their economy. Do you know that Board rooms of investors everywhere place Judicial Independence and Integrity at the top of what persuades them to invest in one country and not the other? Anyone who cares about Nigeria must not permit politicians to desecrate our Judiciary anymore. Even more, the Judiciary itself - justices, judges, magistrates, etc - must care enough about Nigeria and her citizens, to fight off encroachment of their independence, no matter the cost or benefit to self. #JudicialIntegrity #JudicialIndependence✍🏾✍🏾✍🏾

Anytime you feel stupid, just remember that a Minister of the Federal Republic has threatened to sue United Nations in few weeks if they fail to account for the money they received unbehalf of Nigeria 😒😒😒😒 You are not alone 😭😭😭

WHO ARE THE PASTORS AND TRADITIONAL LEADERS ASKING NIGERIANS TO PRAY FOR THE SUCCESS OF PEOPLE LED BY EVIL SPIRIT? 1. Shame is a gift of the Holy Spirit. 2. In any person shame does not inspire to act for redress, the Holy Spirit is shut out. 3. And when the Holy Spirit is shut out, evil spirit is harboured. 4. There is no in-between spirit. 5. With a shameless Government presently in Nigeria, Nigeria is led by people harbouring and dinning with evil spirit. 6. But some Pastors and Traditional leaders ask Nigerians to pray for these evil spirit led leadership to succeed. Even them are likely speaking for Satan. 7. Nigerians, are you ashamed of Nigeria's situation? What are you doing about it?

Faith comes by hearing and hearing according to the Word of God. You will understand the Word only when you hear it over and over again - At that point, you will have faith, and then by faith, you will receive what God has given. #RefreshWednesday

I read somewhere that the brilliant chaps in Abuja running the economy are considering redenomination (arbitrarily knocking off a few zeroes) as a solution for the naira's declining value and rising inflation. 2 things. 1.) This is a continuation of Buhari's legendary economic illiteracy, where a government, for some reason, places an obsessive and neurotic focus on how much the naira exchanges for vs the dollar. For the umpteenth time, having a "N1 = $1" currency is NOT a meaningful economic goal, even if it were realistic - which it is not. 1 USD buys about 950 naira. 1 USD buys 1,300 Korean won. 1 USD buys 145 Japanese yen. 1 USD buys 144 Kenyan shillings. None of these numbers tells you anything about the strength of those economies. On paper, the naira is worth more than the won. Does that mean Nigeria has a better currency or a stronger economy than Korea? Does parity of the JPY and KES in terms of their dollar value mean that Kenya and Japan are economic equals? No. That would be a silly and illiterate conclusion to draw from looking at an exchange rate. A thousand and one things can affect an exchange rate, and it can mean a thousand and one different things. A cheaper naira to lazy Nigerian politicians might be bad news because it means spending more to get their imported Patek Philippe watches and 12-year reserve whisky. A cheaper won to productive South Korean industrialists, on the other hand, means more export sales since international buyers can now get more KRW and buy more Korean goods for the same dollar amount. Trying to build fiscal and economic policy around "revaluing" the naira is a mistake and a fool's errand. The only part of the exchange rate that should be a government's concern is its long-term relative stability. In other words, the exchange rate should be left to market forces and allowed to find its bottom - even if that bottom is N2000 = $1. As long as plans to significantly increase production and exports are being implemented correctly, any pain from a high exchange rate will be brief and temporary. (From consumption to production, anybody? If only a well-known Nigerian industrialist-cum-politician has been saying pretty much exactly this for years!) 2.) Ghana redenominated the cedi in July 2007, knocking off 4 zeroes overnight to make 1 GHS = 1 USD. It's been 16 years since then, and the cedi now trades at around $1 = Ç11. That's an over 1,500% loss in cedi value since redenomination. Redenomination only made cedi transactions more physically convenient - it did not solve the basic inflationary problem of the cedi, which is the same as the basic economic problem of Ghana and Sub Saharan Africa in general - having consistently lower export incomes than import expenses, causing a permanent balance of trade deficit. In fact, last year, the cedi was rated as the world's worst performing currency. bloomberg.com/news/articles/… I know nobody sensible is listening, but I'll still waste my breath and say it anyway - REDENOMINATION IS NOT AN ECONOMIC SOLUTION, NEITHER DOES IT SOLVE INFLATION. IT IS AN AESTHETIC MEASURE AT BEST, AND COULD ACTUALLY WORSEN NAIRA INSTABILITY AT WORST. There. This Ghana Refugee don talk him own.

I just really pity the folks on this app who are quick to say nasty and terrible things about MOGs, esp Daddy Adeboye. Only a man who’s 100% dependent on God can lead the kind of prayer daddy led us to pray tonight. Me I no get mind pray the first part of that prayer sha 👍🏽😂

I decree in the mighty Name of Jesus, anyone who will not allow you to reach your goal shall be uprooted. #BeyondExpectations #RCCG

A guy that drinks and a guy that doesn't drink were asked what influenced their position with alcohol. 1st guy: My father was a drunkard. I looked at him and knew I didn't want that for me. 2nd guy: My father drinks so I naturally took after him. A polygamous man and a monogamous man were asked why they took that path. Poly: My dad was polygamous. I didn't want that for me. Mono: My dad was polygamous. Do you understand where I am going now? Your parents having a beautiful/toxic relationship does not guarantee you'll have one too. Being loved at home or not, will not determine the fate of your relationship. You'll have to decide for yourself what kind of relationship you want. You can use your environment as a lesson or an example. The choice is yours. You accept the love you think you deserve. This also applies to how you raise kids. You can decide to copy your environment because you like how you were raised or disregard it because you loathe it. It is always a choice. Environment gives exposure but you are solely responsible for your choices.

The point of my story is - sinners know where to go when they want to hear the truth of God's word and they know where to go when they want validation. Don't let yourself be a motel for validating sinful lifestyle rather be the spot where they find conviction by the Holy Spirit
