"I came from Bihar. Muslim rural population is 6%, Urban Population is 24%. Muslims live in cities, we will shut down cities then only govt will listen to us"
~Sarjeel Imam a day before the Delhi riots
This whole speech straight up call for violence
Sharjeel Imam has always been crystal clear about his anti-India and anti-Indian state ideology. He does not hide it, he does not mask it.
It is his followers who do all sorts of mental gymnastics in trying to convince the ordinary citizens of India that their beloved Sharjeel does not mean what he says and they will explain to you what he actually means to say.
1/5 Sharjeel Imam has given an interview detailing his Islamist manifesto. Surprisingly, no storm has been kicked up over pronouncements that are so unapologetically anti-liberal, anti-secular, anti-democracy, anti-Constitution—in a word, anti-national.
2/5 He openly calls the Constitution fascist, labels secularism a trap, and denounces democracy as a contrivance to deny Muslims their political rights.
3/5 The piece is a litany of indictments against the liberal class. Imam rejects any difference between liberals and Hindutvadis. In his essentialist worldview, all Hindus are the same, unanimous in denying Muslims political power they claim as a divine right.
4/5 Inadvertently, Sharjeel has recognised something that liberals have been fighting shy of acknowledging: that Hindutva’s idea of India is anchored in the same “overarching nationalist framework”— that Muslims are Indians above all else.
5/5 For more, read this Opinion article by Ibn Khaldun Bharati, who looks at Islam from an Indian perspective:
Sharjeel Imam’s Islamist manifesto will be forgotten. The silence of liberals will not

@ShekharGupta Uploading the full 40 minute Sharjeel speech, since many might not have seen it.
Please watch and understand the mindset.
Him and his ilk are Pakistanis living in India.
Many young muslims from JNU/AMU/JMI espouse the same ideology.
Watch.
“Constitution is not some infallible document”
From swearing by the constitution at the drop of a hat, and reading its preamble in every park/lawn they find, to throwing the constitution under the bus to defend a thoroughly Islamist argument by a man who doesn’t believe in constitution and its ideals, rather calls it a fascist document, the leftists and liberals have shown that they have scant regard for India and the Indian constitution.
For them, Political Islam is above the Indian Constitution.
Criticising Sharjeel is easier than constructively engaging with his ideas and thoughts. In the end, the Constitution is not some infallible document, but you are not ready to have that conversation.
Now I realise why Narendra Modi & Amit Shah made Dharmendra Pradhan resign.
At that time, the protest was student led, and as we are seeing in France, govt can't take tough steps against students.
BJP let Dharmendra Pradhan resign to shift the focus away from students.
After the resignation, CJP vs BJP became a political ideology war, instead of a student led protests like in France.
This allowed Amit Shah and Narendra Modi to take tough steps in Jantar Mantar 2.0, and no one even questioned them, because it wasn't a student protests, it was typical left vs right wing protests.
All the planning CIA did for regime change failed because of Dharmendra Pradhan resignation.
I’m not saying this for political reasons.
This incident has genuinely upset me
DK Shivakumar may belong to the Congress, but he is the Chief Minister of Karnataka and a senior leader of the state
It is not right for immature people who were born with a silver spoon in their mouths to treat leaders who have worked hard to build their political careers in this manner
Apparently, her name is Neha Bora
Is this really how you treat a representative of 7 crore people just to make way for her?
Political differences aside, the dignity of an elected representative deserves respect
Takeaways from Rahul Gandhi’s monologue with the media today:
1. Rahul has no proof of vote chori. Hence, instead of providing evidence, he has asked the Government to prove that no vote chori has taken place.
2. Priyanka Vadra asked about the strategy. Rahul replied that there is no strategy and no plan. Shoot and scoot. See what sticks. A clueless LoP who wants to become PM. Does he plan to run the country without a plan, too?
3. Congress has little to no cadre of its own, which is why you see it depending on the Left, AISA, and the SP for cadre support.
4. Rahul confirms that they are fighting a perception war without any proof of vote chori.
5. Rahul says he asked for the CJI’s time, but the CJI suggested that they file their grievances through a petition in the Supreme Court. Rahul says he will march towards the Supreme Court today and then file a petition. Once again, theatrics. The petition will not be filed even today. He has an army of lawyers, including Senior Advocates Singhvi and Sibal. Why has Congress still not filed a petition backed by proof of vote chori?
When you have no proof, no plan, and no answers, all that remains is political theatrics.

-Rahul Gandhi met Manohar Parrikar when he was on his deathbed : He came out and lied about Parrikar agreeing to some defence deal issue
-Rahul Gandhi was in a meeting with Modi-Shah: He came out and lied about the meeting details
-Rahul Gandhi met Madam President : He came out and lied about her agreeing with his “vote chori” claims.
This isn't politics, this is cheapness. It's what he was fed by Sonia Gandhi while being raised.
He doesn't deserve to hold any public office, let alone become the PM.

Forget Modi. As a youth of this country you’re seeing international media, businesses and politicians bully your country.
Doesn’t it boil your blood? Encouraging them doesn’t make you a revolutionary. It makes you a sell out. A traitor. Nothing else.
Dear Elon @elonmusk
You hv certainly stirred up plenty of reaction with ur posts. But this needs a response from me, as did ur “Electronic Voting machines can be hacked” post from some time ago.
As someone who knows a little bit abt Telecom as someone who played a decent-ish role in building Indias wireless sector as an Entrepreneur and then as a policy maker , let me share my thoughts.
It is true that Indias Telecom was a sector beset with opaqueness and corruption for several decades - where cronies ruled under the benevolent love and the politics of ur latest fan (name not withheld - @RahulGandhi )
But under PM @narendramodi , 3 principles govern the tech (including Telecom/Internet) sector.
Open, Safe & Trusted and Accountable.
#OSTA
✅ Open - Free from any monopoly-duopoly. Free and fair competition.
✅ #SafeAndTrusted - Infra, Network , Platforms must be safe and trusted.
✅ Accountable - Every participant should be legally accountable for safety and trust.
I was a MP first and then part of PM @narendramodi jis team when this framework was developed. I have more than a little experience of fighting years of political and bureaucratic opaqueness and corruption, which shaped these principles.
so todays India is not that old crony driven India.
I am not in govt anymore and certainly dont speak for it. But it seems to me that Govt has made it clear: all three satcom licensees are at broadly the same stage of ensuring security clearance by verifying its safety and trust first, then spectrum.
Satellite IP services have many security implications. More so in a country like India which has faced years of Terror and insurgency supported by inmical state actors in our neighbourhood. From 26/11 terror attacks to recent ones in Pahalgam, satcom has been preferred comm for Terrorists. Satellite VOIP and encryption creates more challenges security wise. Not insurmountable but new capabilities and capacity hv to be built to ensure Safety and Trust.
I hv used @Starlink and I think its awesome technology - and represents a new era in mobility innovation. No doubt.
But a country has to plan for itself and its interests before every new choice. Thats what India is doing. Patience is unavoidable and in this case is a necessity.
Starlink is licensed in over 165 countries and has spent five years complying with every single law and requirement of the government of India, so why still no license?
Is Ambani the real boss of India?
Gloves are off now, Elon.
Still no licence? Wrong. Starlink got its Unified Licence with GMPCS authorisation from the DoT in June 2025. You know that. Your own VP posted about it.
Ambani is the real boss?
Ambani's Jio lobbied for a spectrum auction. India gave you administrative allocation, the exact thing you asked for. Then you signed distribution deals with Jio and Airtel. If Ambani is blocking you, why is he your reseller?
Five years of complying?
In 2021 you took pre-order money from Indians with no licence at all. The DoT had to order you to stop and refund people. That was your first move in India.
India's home ministry reportedly froze clearances after Starlink terminals showed up in Iran, where you aren't even licensed. Before that, our army pulled one out of a militant cache in Manipur. Your own company says talks are active and productive. So which version is true: the one your VP tells Delhi, or the one you tell 200 million followers?
The spectrum rules were cleared last month and are headed to Cabinet. You're weeks from the finish line, and you're throwing a tantrum in public to rush a sovereign country's security review.
India isn't a market you can bully on X. Wait your turn.
Starlink is licensed in over 165 countries and has spent five years complying with every single law and requirement of the government of India, so why still no license?
Is Ambani the real boss of India?
Never thought I'd see the day the Indian opposition will RT Shri Elon Musk Ji Ki. Our opposition is Left. Musk is as Right as it gets. Hor dus kinne achchhe din chahida tainu!
The same people called Starlink a national security risk last year. Was his entry the scandal or the delay is the scandal? Ek hi sahi hoga na.
Tesla drove in on his conditions because Trump Chachu forced India's hand. Starlink is different. Cars need showrooms, satellite links need security clearance. India will set conditions, Starlink will negotiate, and that's how it works everywhere. China hasn't let him in. Sovereignty is not a monthly internet subscription plan.
Yes, the government is in a tight spot at home ATM. It has seen how a Meta algorithm can feed the fire of dissent. It would want X on its side. Smart of Elon to press the crony nerve at this crucial moment. The government better be equally smart to equal.
My guess is Starlink will eventually be in, once India finalises the framework for this new comm compounder. Even the Indian telcos are still waiting for the final go-ahead. It's natural for Starlink to eye the first-mover advantage. For the government, it should always be Advantage India. No matter which party is in power, some things remain non-negotiable and this issue is not even in that category. Outside the conditions of guardrails, everything else will be negotiated. India is not China. India is not Ghana either.
Like Tesla, Starlink would find few takers though if prices remain in that zone. India remains a value for money and price-sensitive market. Jai ho!
