Look who’s at the E20 table - govt bodies, manufacturers, ethanol producers, fuel retailers. All gainers. The only losers? Us. We pay the taxes, we buy the cars, we’re forced to use fuel that damages them. Easy to “consult” when everyone’s winning… except the public. 😡

@venkat_fin9 This govt survives on one-sided diktats. No debate, no consultation — just impose and move on. Ethanol blending could’ve been gradual, with fair pricing & citizen choice. Instead, prices stay high, fuel quality varies, vehicle wear & tear is ignored. They’ve lost the plot.

If my 2020 model car, for which I already paid nearly 50% GST, is E10 compatible only, and now if gets damaged because of your forced E20 fuel, tell me @PetroleumMin, WHO will bear the cost? Not ACKO, not manufacturers… so will taxpayers pay twice, once in GST, once in repair…

wow.... govt doesn't give fuel option other than E20. there are several cars which are not compatible. insurance companies are saying they won't cover if wrong fuel is used. we are all doomed, with no option!!!
