who needs grammy when they literally had this
Oh and before all of you other fandoms talk shit and get it twisted, ARIRANG IS the album of the year. SWIM IS the song of the year. And lastly, BTS IS THE ARTIST OF THE YEAR. The numbers don’t fucking lie.
that category is a guaranteed win for bts actually, with the grammy's basically saying "here damn. take ur trophy and shut up" but bts with their big dicks really said i think the FUCK not 😆😆😆
The most savage thing an artist can do is remind the world that music belongs to people, not labels
armys are already cooking with their edits
#SIKAP
u all r saying which groups u wouldn’t mind taking the award but sorry i won’t be happy for any of them. even the ones i do like and listen to. the audacity to submit to a category CREATED to discriminate against you bc the industry was intimidated by your peer is pathetic
The impact speaks louder than any trophy
dulu grammy manfaatin popularitas bts abis2an, tp disaat yg sama malah bikin kategori baru yg bikin bts makin dijauhkan dari kategori utama dan sekarang? bts mutusin buat gak ikut submit sama sekali ke grammy dan milih buat ninggalin semuanya 🤭 bukan karna gak mampu, tp karna mereka milih gak ikut main di permainan itu lagi. dan jujur… sebagai army, aku bangga bgt sama keputusan mereka 💜 omagad bts paved the way ❤️🔥
“my favourite bts genre?” that bts have the biggest spine in the industry to reject grammys and being the first asian act in history who standed up angaist racism, the fact they wrote their response in korean which makes it more powerful.
BTS did the same to the South Korean Government in 2022. The Govt tried to dangle the military exemption like a bone infront of them to make them perform in political events and do their bidding for free. And after they got scammed at the Busan Expo, BTS had enough and ennounced their military enlistment unanimously one day which send the whole Govt in a frenzy. Had politicians contacting their company & even parents to change their minds. Same way today they announced they won't be submitting ARIRANG for the 2027 Grammys. For years they thought they weren't enough, kept accepting the invite to perform and getting subbed by songs with barely any impact outside 3 states of USA. But Arirang is different, it is the most successful album of 2026 both in records & in critical acclaim. And yet the Grammys decided to introduce a whole new Asian Pop Category to box them than give them their deserved Album of the Year win. Would've probably nominated them to give false hope and bait them to perform again and increase their viewership. And then toss them that token asian award like a pity. But BTS has had enough. They now know their worth and exactly what they deserve. Just like they did in 2022. I'm so proud of them.

they were so excited for their first grammy nomination, they went from this somewhat innocent excitement and anticipation to realizing how fucked up the industry is towards them
BTS spent years opening doors that weren’t built for them. now they have the freedom to decide which ones are worth walking through. bts are truly living legends.
