While responding to a prompt output, I rewrote my reply from "I have the habit of..." to "I have the history of..." Both are data points. I can't change history but I can change my habits Small word change but it got me thinking.

When I owned my own website, I needed to make it comfortable my target audience... ME. And when I'm comfortable with it, I will then want to improve it to be able to give my visitors and readers (you) a better experience. asheraw.com/blog/getting-m…

I understand the need to perform on social media, I really do. ... But doing that for too long potentially loses that real connection. asheraw.com/blog/getting-m…

Posting on social media was starting to feel like living inside a shopping mall. Always on display, performing for algorithms instead of self-expression & writing for people. So, I revived my own website. asheraw.com/blog/getting-m…

Imagine spending weeks building features on your website, only to realize I was using productive work to avoid what actually mattered. High-functioning avoidance is still avoidance.

@patrickwieland Oddly enough, you were raging less than usual even though the losses were more than usual. Thanks for sharing this. I set a hard 1% daily loss and I hit it QUICK on this chopping day.

A.I. has negatively affected my appreciation of visuals now. Instead of appreciating the artwork or photo, I caught myself spending time trying to find the bugs to identify that it's a generated image.

It has been a WHILE since I taught a live class --- feeling a little rusty but relying on preparation + interacting with the comments has not failed me yet.

A.I. gives most people answers to everything except it's up to the user to make it into reality. Otherwise, it's all just mental masturbation.

#AI is a drug. It feels like power - answers on demand, ideas without effort, a 1,000 IQ mind at your fingertips. Satisfying the mind with illusions of progress. In time, you won’t dream, think, or create - you consume what's been generated, while the machine dreams for you.
