The Cowboys released Dez Bryant, let All-Pro corner Byron Jones walk, and put provisions in Randy Gregory's contract that pissed him off and caused him to bolt. These were initially viewed as egregious errors by the Cowboys front office. The Cowboys were right on all counts.
@DannyPhantom24 I’ll give you Byron Jones and Randy Gregory, but I think Dez still had some left in the tank when they released him. I know he went to Baltimore and NO and didn’t play well, but he was trying to learn a new offense and got hurt in NO. I don’t think he e we wanted to leave
@big_tex06 @DannyPhantom24 Look at his last 3 seasons with Dallas - what would make anyone think he would then return to greatness?
@big_tex06 @DannyPhantom24 If your going to concede BJ and RG both had better careers than Dez post Cowboys the bar was pretty low
@big_tex06 @DannyPhantom24 Dez was washed when they moved on, absolutely the right decision
