New BTCTCs have never been through a bear market. But, as a proxy, I often wonder if BTCTC leadership have HODL'd not only bitcoin, but a MSTR position through a bear market. I doubled down on MSTR in 2022. Not to be self-aggrandizing, but I want people like me on the team.

@coryklippsten Assuming 30% BTC CAGR (as MSTR does), MSTR issuing STRD/STRF at 10% par is like using the ATM at 13.8x mNAV. If STRF can get investment grade credit ratings and push div rates down to 6%, it's like doing ATM at 23x mNAV. That makes prefs 7-12x more accretive than ATM at 2x mNAV.
$SWC $TSWCF joining the 1K bitcoin club looks imminent. If it can keep up this rate of growth, 10K btc this year is possible. It would be 1 (very) OK day, when they achieve it.

What really drives potential for a Bitcoin Treasury Company's size? Regulatory arbitrage helps, but I suspect that BTCTC size will more closely correlate with size of home market stock exchanges. Possible exceptions being Japan, or a dominant European company.
One thing people still don't fully grok about the $MSTR (or $MTPLF someday) preferred stock strategy is that the dollar value of BTC holdings must grow faster than dollar value of preferred stock issued (or more precisely, the dollar value increase in liquidation preference).…
