I used to think like many of you. “The NDP is the people’s party. It’s MY Party” and if I leave I can’t change it. As with all things. Inside the Party isn’t where you do that. Changing it comes from not being confined by its rules. /1

After @MaritStiles published this statement, I resigned as President from the Scarborough-Rouge Park Riding Association. One can't work together as a team, or on the principle of trust, if decrying the scale and asymmetry of injustice is framed as a "different viewpoint."
