Today, I called on the President to address my serious concern regarding reports the United States is withholding critical defense material pledged to Ukraine. This comes as Russia launches the largest aerial assault since the war began, firing over 500 weapons at civilian targets in a single week. Ukrainian forces are not only safeguarding their homeland—they are holding the front line of freedom itself. There can be no half-measures in the defense of liberty. We must, as we always have, stand for peace through strength. I have formally requested an emergency briefing from the White House and the Department of Defense to clarify these reports, review our nation’s weapons and munitions stockpiles, and ensure the United States remains fully committed to providing Ukraine with the resources it urgently needs to defend its people and preserve the cause of freedom.

I am furious. The decision to pause critical U.S. weapons shipments — including Patriot missiles and artillery — puts Ukrainian lives and territory at risk. The Ukrainian people are fighting fiercely against Putin’s invasion. We must course-correct to ensure our Ukrainian partners have what they need in their fight for freedom.

Russians are celebrating their great victory over the United States and anticipating being able to kill more Ukrainians as a result.

U.S.-backed russian terrorists are dropping guided bombs in Donetsk region and have launched Iranian "Shahed" strike UAVs to attack Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv, Donetsk and Kherson regions. The russians are firing heavy artillery at civilians in Nikopol district.

Russia launched a large-scale drone and missile attack on Kyiv and Kyiv region overnight. In the capital, at least six people were killed. In Shevchenkivskyi district, a missile destroyed an entire entrance of a multi-storey apartment building. Rescuers saved ten injured residents and are still clearing the rubble. In Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region, a missile hit both residential and medical infrastructure. Russia killed one person, eight more were injured. Two rescuers were hurt during the response. Russia continues to deliberately target homes, hospitals, and civilian areas, showing no intention to stop. This terror will not end unless Russia’s ability to fund and wage this war is dismantled – with tougher sanctions and firm global pressure.

The way to end the war is to defeat the Russian invaders. The way to defeat Russia is to give Ukrainian defenders everything we've got and to send an Allied Expeditionary Force to Ukraine. The sooner Western political leadership commits to victory the sooner peace will come.
