Bunch of the majors broke out, retested, and are just below all-time highs. Some sharp buybacks on intraday dumps too. Expecting continuation, but gonna give it this week at most. If that’s not good enough to go up, will have to find buyers lower/God help us.

$SHIB flips Doge, trades more volume than the majors, and crashes Coinbase (while it’s #1 app on the App Store w/ SHIB in the title). I think being a fresh buyer in those conditions works maybe 1% of the time. No position, just coping about dog money sucking the air out.

Lots of discussion as to whether leverage is a net positive in crypto. Let’s be objective about this. Leverage is good if I make money when I’m gambling. Leverage is bad if I lose money when I’m gambling.

Trading the $20k breakout was annoying. Every time we'd come close, the market was so aggressively long perps that we'd spike and drop. Think I attended 3 all-time high watch parties that kept getting stuck in the $19000s. Can we skip the theatre this time and just go up?

There it is! Bloomberg's data team in the process of adding the ProShares Bitcoin Strategy ETF to the terminal. Ticker will be $BITO. 95 bps -- less than half $GBTC's 2% fee. This thing is going live next week. Either Monday or Tuesday.

Gensler spoke positively about a futures-based $BTC ETF. The first decision is on ProShares' application, which is not futures-based. Next is Valkyrie, which is futures-based. Non-trivial chance of denial doom into approval moon. Am I missing something? H/t @ledgerstatus
