A sad evening. Ireland continues to be an outlier in not providing essential in-school support for students with complex needs who have suffered greatly. The developmental impact of school closures are and will be felt by our community for a long time. We need to find a solution

Immunologicals / biologicals should not be discontinued. Relapse may lead to worsening of your condition requiring medical appointments, hospitalization, high dose steroids etc. BP tablets (ACE inhibitors/ ARBs) also safe. Discuss with your HCP if concerned.

People need to know that despite messages being relayed in the media, we (GPs) have no easy means of accessing testing for suspected cases of COVID19 as it stands. In fact it is nigh impossible for us. Involves hours in some cases left on hold on phone which is not viable😡😡😡😡

So the day begins. A hospital health care worker has raised temperature, cough, myalgia etc. And I can't get them tested. So those with whom they have been in contact, incl patients, won't know. Are we trying to stop this dease spreading or not?? @SimonHarrisTD @paulreiddublin
