1/5 Sharjeel Imam has given an interview detailing his Islamist manifesto. Surprisingly, no storm has been kicked up over pronouncements that are so unapologetically anti-liberal, anti-secular, anti-democracy, anti-Constitution—in a word, anti-national. 2/5 He openly calls the Constitution fascist, labels secularism a trap, and denounces democracy as a contrivance to deny Muslims their political rights. 3/5 The piece is a litany of indictments against the liberal class. Imam rejects any difference between liberals and Hindutvadis. In his essentialist worldview, all Hindus are the same, unanimous in denying Muslims political power they claim as a divine right. 4/5 Inadvertently, Sharjeel has recognised something that liberals have been fighting shy of acknowledging: that Hindutva’s idea of India is anchored in the same “overarching nationalist framework”— that Muslims are Indians above all else. 5/5 For more, read this Opinion article by Ibn Khaldun Bharati, who looks at Islam from an Indian perspective: Sharjeel Imam’s Islamist manifesto will be forgotten. To usłyszeli ode mnie liderzy Europy w Brukseli.

@noidapolice the sheer number of vehicles roaming around without any number plates is increasing. Even the apology of a temporary nameplate is missing. Total lawlessness. Driving the wrong way appears to be acceptable to even police personnel. @Uppolice ?

🚨BREAKING : Indian Express launches surgical strike on Dictator MODI🔥🔥 Modi's government is so scared of your posts, it's deleting them faster than you can type 😡 The Indian Express got the data. Between March and July 2026, nearly 1.95 lakh blocking orders went to Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. That's around 1,275 every single day. One every 68 seconds. A year earlier, the same Home Ministry portal sent about 6 orders a day. Six. And when the story came out, the government's own "clarification" made it worse. It said the real number was nearly 2.98 lakh. One order can cover hundreds of posts and accounts. Meta has plugged its system straight into the Home Ministry's portal, so flagged posts can disappear without any human even reviewing them. Bro, my cousin posted a video of the broken road outside his house. Next morning it was gone. No reason, no notice. Now he doesn't post anything 😢 That's what they want. Today it's a meme, tomorrow it's your son's complaint about a paper leak. Modi ji, 56 inch chest, but scared of a 6 inch phone screen? 🔥🔥 x.com/AnumaVidisha/s…

SonyLIV: Monopoly Meets Mediocrity If this is how TV channels plan to win viewers online, good luck. Just look at SonyLIV, showing the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games in India. Wrong tiles. Wrong event information. You click, discover something else is playing, hunt for the right stream—and every fresh click means another minute-long ad. Honestly, how many times must one sit through the same corporate foundation propaganda? And then comes the commentary. Viren Rasquinha is the obvious exception. He is sharp, knowledgeable and someone who actually understands sport. And the rest? Pedestrian sports knowledge accompanied by verbal diarrhoea. One commentator announced that Ancy Sojan had lost the long jump gold “by a few metres.” 😳😳😳 It was 2 cm. During the mixed 4x100m relay, Gurindervir Singh was repeatedly called “Gurvir”. He is India’s 100m national record holder. Surely knowing his name is the bare minimum for someone being paid to commentate on Indian athletics. Bad interface. Bad information. Endless ads. Commentary that often makes you reach for the mute button. But when you have a monopoly, why bother? The sports fan has nowhere else to go. SonyLIV knows it. @virenrasquinha @AsianGamesOCA @SonyLIV

This maturity from a GenZ victim is rare. 👏 He was slapped, kicked and threatened after questioning Parvesh Verma over road quality. VICTIM 🙏: “If there’s proof I abused anyone, I’ll surrender and get arrested.” No excuses. GenZ wants accountability.

15-year-old girl used abusive language. Narendra Modi got such a big cultural shock, he made a video about it. 15-year-old girl got molested in Jamui. Narendra Modi hasn't even tweeted about it.

In 2002 a woman living inside one of the most powerful religious organisations in north India wrote an anonymous letter. She said the man at the top was raping his female followers. Every big newspaper refused to print it. A man who ran a small evening paper in Sirsa printed it. His name was Ram Chander Chhatrapati. He was 53. His paper was called Poora Sach, which means the whole truth. It was a local Hindi evening daily, a few pages, in the same town as the headquarters of Dera Sacha Sauda. The head of that Dera was Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh. He had millions of followers. Politicians visited him before elections. On 31st May 2002, Poora Sach published the letter. The threats started almost immediately. He kept publishing. On 23rd October 2002 he ran another report on the sexual exploitation of women at the Dera. The next evening, 24th October, 2 men came to his house on a scooter and shot him 4 times from close range. He died of his injuries on 21st November, in a hospital in Delhi. Most national newspapers barely noticed. His son Anshul was a young man. He went to court and asked for the case to be taken away from the local police and given to the CBI. The High Court agreed. Then came 16 years. In August 2017 Ram Rahim was convicted of raping 2 of his followers and sentenced to 20 years. His followers rioted across Haryana and Punjab. People died. In January 2019, a special CBI court in Panchkula convicted Ram Rahim and 3 others of Chhatrapati's murder and sentenced them all to life. His former driver had testified that he heard Ram Rahim order it. Anshul said afterwards that they had been waiting 16 or 17 years, and that they had suffered a great deal because the man they were fighting was so powerful. That should have been the end. It was not. On 7th March 2026, the Punjab and Haryana High Court acquitted Ram Rahim in the murder case. It upheld the life sentences of the 3 other men, including the man who fired the shots. So the people who pulled the trigger are guilty. The court did not find it proved who sent them. Ram Rahim is still in prison, serving his sentence for rape. Anshul has taken the case to the Supreme Court. In August 2026 the court issued notice to Ram Rahim. He has been fighting it since he was a young man. He is still fighting it. His father printed one letter that nobody else would touch. Everything that happened to Ram Rahim afterwards began with that page.
