I remember asking assistant coach Mo Cheeks, what’s harder to do? Workout after practice or before?? I only asked cuz by time I would get to the gym, Russ was already done in the morning and I usually got mine in after practice. Mo like, “coming in before practice is probably harder”…since then, it’s been my routine….a lot of people looked at the emotions on the court and thought Russ was loud, nah to me, he was quiet and methodical. He lead by example and once the lights were bright, he let everything out and experienced pure freedom. It was inspiring as his teammate and everywhere I went, I seen it inspire people from all walks of life, crazy thing is, he didn’t say much, he just showed up. For 18 years. This basketball life is sacred to us as professionals, what we put into that court means everything. Some of us wish we could go back and do things with a little more intent and some can just wipe their hands and be satisfied with the time spent. Who u gonna be? We know what zero was on…keep inspiring in the next phase of life champ. I don’t care what happens, can’t erase what it was…The first YNs, finals run in our early 20s, all star games, seeing each other get injured and bounce back, the bus rides, plane rides, card games, jokes and arguments, the whole thing, memorable!! …to the whole Westbrook family, Nina, the kids, mama Westbrook, big Russ, Ray, Donnell, everybody from luezinger high and ucla and many more that I’m forgettin, much love and Congratulations on a iconic career.

Hmm I wonder why the families of 9/11 don’t want Mandami at the 25th anniversary memorial ceremony. Could it be for any of the following reasons? He campaigned with Hassan Piker who said US deserved 9/11 He endorsed Claire Valdez who also said America deserved 9/11 He endorsed Darializa Avila Chevalier who founded a group at Columbia with a stated goal of overthrowing Western Civilization He sympathized with the Boston Marathon bombers before the murdered bodies were even cold? His dad has justified “suicide bombing” (like the ones in 9/11) as “first and foremost a category of soldier”. Mandami has refused to condemn the phrase “Globalize the Intifada” which is exactly what 9/11 was During his mayoral campaign he took a smiling picture with his arm around Iman Siraj Wahhaj who was accused of being one of the co-conspirators of the 1993 world trade center bombing He has said he wanted to defund the police about a million times and demonized law enforcement Yeah I wonder why the families don’t want him there. The bigger question is how the hell did we get here in the 1st place? Ps - All the above is readily accessible with a quick google search. He hasnt hid who he is.

Mamdani on people who don't want him at 9/11 memorial services: "I will proudly honor the families, the survivors, the first responders forever impacted by that horrific terror attack by standing alongside them ... reaffirming that we will never forget."

Jews have literally lived peacefully in NYC for over 200 years. They are not the problem. The pro-Hamas protestors are the problem.

🚨 HAPPENING NOW IN BROOKLYN: Insane footage of pro-Hamas rioters marching through an Orthodox Jewish neighborhood toward a synagogue while assaulting Jewish kids. This is what Mamdani wants to see. He could stop this at any time.
