What if we could make the Ethereum transaction journey and block construction process faster, cheaper, more flexible, censorship resistant, & robustness? What if we could do this today? This is what the Blockspace Forum is about. 🧵👇

Ethereum clearly needs a new sense of time. For years, Ethereum scaling was framed as a one-way door: “L1 settles, L2s execute.” That framing missed something critical. Users don’t experience blockspace rather they experience latency. And until now, Ethereum’s biggest weakness wasn’t throughput or security but the gap between when something happens and when it feels final. That’s the gap @ETHGasOfficial closes. — ETHGas is not a gas optimization. It’s a time primitive. ETHGas breaks Ethereum’s execution model out of the rigid “one block -to - one UX moment” assumption. Instead of waiting for a full block: • execution is sliced into ~50–100ms intervals • state updates flow continuously • confirmations feel near-instant, even if finality still lives at the block level This is not about TPS but about responsiveness when Ethereum stops feeling like a batch processor and starts behaving like a live system. — Why does this matter more than L2 speed? L2s solved cost and throughput. They did not solve coordination latency at the base layer. That creates real problems: • fragmented UX assumptions • async composability • liquidity that moves slower than information ETHGas changes the role of L1 entirely. Ethereum becomes: • the fastest place to coordinate • the most trusted place to decide • the lowest-latency place to anchor reality Execution can live anywhere and time must live somewhere. ETHGas makes Ethereum that place again. — Worth noting is the fact that sequencing, preconfirmations and @ETHGasOfficial all point at the same goal which is to make Ethereum feel instant without compromising decentralization. ETHGas is the execution-side expression of that goal. • Sequencing defines who can give fast assurances • Preconfirmations define what those assurances mean • ETHGas defines when state becomes usable Together, they collapse perceived latency without compromising the protocol. That’s the difference between UX hacks and protocol evolution. ETHGas is critical for what comes next in the next wave of Ethereum-native apps which are: • agent-driven systems • real-time markets • onchain games • continuous order flow • autonomous coordination All of those break if your base layer feels turn-based. ETHGas is a redefinition of Ethereum’s role. • L2s scale execution • zkVMs compress correctness • PeerDAS expands bandwidth ETHGas makes it all feel real. And without that, none of the rest actually matters.
