Every Republican should oppose S.386/H.R.1044 - which is a big tech/big data immigration handout that will severely hurt American graduates and workers. Time to put our workers first, oppose this bill!

Sen. Lee will try to go & convince the other Senators who have their concerns about S. 386. The Senate is still open for business until Friday. Keep calling & emailing your Senators (especially Republicans) as these new amendments added will INCREASE immigration numbers. #NoS386

Lee will cleverly argue that a German has special privileges when it comes to applying for EB GCs. But what he won't tell you is how many Germans self-deported because they lost out on the H-1B visa lottery because Indian IT companies swooped up all available visas for Indians.

Sen. Lee's story about 2 foreign workers, one from India, & the other from Germany, would make sense if they were strictly applying through a single tier merit based system. That's not the current immigration system we have in place. It's a two tier system - H-1B to EB GC.

It can't be stressed enough, but the bill "Fairness for High Skilled Immigrants Act" is really bad. There's a reason why Senators are objecting & trying to get carve outs for green cards for their respective industries (Perdue, Paul). There're others. They need to be convinced.

@SenatorDurbin I totally agree! My best friend graduated from MIT who’s super intelligent . Thanks to those ABUSERS he didn’t win the H1B lottery and he struggled a lot but finally left. It’s terrible. He has so many classmates experienced the same. Please help the TRULY talented people stay!
