An underrated form of wealth is waking up and realizing that nothing about your day was decided by someone else.

The moments unfolding at the Safari Rally are absolutely thrilling! 🔥

If you have a family/friend today with a possible diagnosis of cancer, and you take them to public hospital, biopsy will be booked in at least 2 to 4 months. That time, the cancer spreads. If you have money, at least 200,000 you can take to a private facility. That alone doesn’t cover cost for treatment. The rot in public hospitals is caused by poor leadership, and you will realize the consequences once you work there. A sane person won’t defend a corrupt regime. A sane person will promote accountability.

There is peace and joy in appreciating the little that you have.

Everyone, wake up and recite our daily affirmation!

Faith Odhiambo: We need to see all unconstitutional offices scrapped. We don’t want to hear about CSs, the offices of the wife of the President, the wife of the Deputy President, and the wife of the Prime Minister. Let that money go to health and education #JKLive @KoinangeJeff

“The debt burden is burden acquired by the leaders but passed on to the ordinary people to pay.” - Wangari Maathai, 1992 #RejectFinanceBiill2024

The thing that's different about this protest is that Kenyan's are literally begging for the country to live within its means. They are begging for austerity.

Funny enough, tactic ya wee ni mjaluo, mluhya, mkamba, mkikuyu, mkale, mmeru, mgiriama, msomali, mmaasai, muembu, msomali, mkisii, mteso etc no longer works. Hii movement bora wanaongea kiswahili na wanaelewa "Ruto must go, MWIZI!", are good to go. No looting, no chaos.

Leader of Minority, @OpiyoWandayi.

I love you all, beautiful revolutionary Gen-Zs and Millennials. You are fearless, disciplined and focused. You have restored the country’s soul and proven to Kenya’s organized mafia that their looted money, hoarded wealth, barbaric weapons and illegitimate power cannot defeat your resolve. No retreat. No surrender. Forward march. Backward never. Viva! #TenMillionStrong #OccupyEverywhere #RutoMustFall #ZakayoAtashuka #RevolutionNow #RejectFinanceBill2024

🆘1. Drop the Finance Bill in its entirety. 2. Cut Government wastage to the lowest it can get. 3. Stop theft of public funds. 4. Amend the Anti-corruption and Economics Crime Act and make theft of public resources a crime punishable by death/Life imprisonment. Fine 10m or 10 years imprisonment for Money laundering. 5. Scrap CDF and create Community Development Fund unaffiliated with political parties. MPs should only lobby for funding of the New CDF and not control the fund. THE fund should be used to create Youth Centres, Tech Labs, local libraries, community parks and markets, local infrastructures like drainages and public halls, shelters in case we have natural disasters etc. It should not be used to disburse bursary or install cabros in schools! 6. Remove and defund all illegal offices; Mudavadi, CAS, Spouses etc. 7. Public audit of all external and domestic debt. 8. Give 6 months Amnesty to those who have stolen public land and money to surrender 75% of it and escape prosecution. 9. FREE Primary and secondary education. 10. Reform the Police and give them better training, healthcare and homes. 11. Pay teachers, doctors, nurses and all key public workers decent wages. 12. Stop all non-essential infrastructure projects. We have enough revenue to do all that.

Budgeted corruption. Zakayo wants to raise Sh4 trillion ($23b) to run his corrupt government. This is more than Uganda, Tanzania, and Rwanda budgets combined. Our population is 54 million; Uganda, Tanzania, and Rwanda's total population is 120 million. #RejectFinanceBill2024

Impressive foundations in place! 🌊

If you have time read through the story of Roman tyrant, King Tarquin The Proud as narrated by historian Livy. Tall poppy syndrome is synonymous in different cultures and groups of people where ambition is viewed as a negative trait. It’s outwards manifestation are the negative emotions of, Envy, Low self esteem, Fear & Resentment. Crab bucket mentality is more common than we think and not every situation has to be a Zero-Sum-Game, where one persons success means others do less well

“What happened has made it so that I don’t trust anybody.” Two-time Olympic champion Eliud Kipchoge has told the BBC he feared for the lives of his family during a campaign of online abuse wrongly linking him to the death of fellow Kenyan marathon runner, Kelvin Kiptum.

You always have to show up. The world doesn’t care about what you’re going through, you still have to show up and get things done

22. What has been the hardest part about becoming an adult?

My 3-year-old walked into my room audaciously with an empty bottle of juice I left on the table saying, “Bottles go in the recycle bin, not on the table. Don’t leave bottles on the table.” Then marched to the trash can and dropped it. I wanted to explain to her that I was going to trash it, but went to the room to get something first, but what does it matter? That was not time to be defensive. I felt small before her, but I’m grateful to her teacher. Our kids should be better than us.

More ease, less complexity. More softness, less struggle. More flow, less confusion. More letting go, less control. More lightness, less heaviness. More energy, less depletion. More delegation/paying for convinience, less doing it all. More trust, less overthinking.
