How can the river be “outdated, a waste of space, priority one that it be bulldozed, no one is interested etc..” in WDW, yet at DLP it’s important enough they are investing in it? Both Disney narratives can’t be true. Another confirmation that we need to save the ROA.

A Cars dirt track will counter this? Look at the level of detail! Disney really needs to abandon the whole idea of tearing out the Rivers Of America and actually work on a larger project elsewhere that would be a worthy competitor to this level of care, design, and imagination.

I wonder if Disney is bothered that all the usual "Disney Influencer" types seem to be at the Epic press event. These accounts are all flooded with this content. I can't imagine what this will be like when the park actually opens. It's like Disney doesn't exist.

This comparison doesn't paint the cost-focused corners cut, Remy's Epcot expansion area facade flats - in a very positive light. I am sure that's not what Eddie was going for here - but when you stack them up side by side, full-scale and realistic stands out.

The sad thing is that what they do now is just so conventional. Slapping "IP themes" on off-the-shelf rollercoasters and existing rides. This is not the same company that used to innovate that would give us things we've never seen before. They lack vision.

Update on my Post from August. As I said then, using natural wood was a huge design mistake in the "New" Epcot area. I checked it recently, and the sun is destroying it as I expected. The area under the Walt statue looks really bad. Other wood seating areas are also degrading.
