At a @TfL board meeting yesterday we were told: high serious road casualty rates were due to the good weather and cycling was getting safer despite serious injuries to cyclists rising by 14%! This delivered by a policy of Vision Zero. This needs serious challenge.
What Cllr Chowdhury, the lead for enviroment at Lambeth Council, who has blocked us, means is that Lambeth is intalling an LTN in an area where noise, air pollution and casualties are all low at the expense of the already busy surrounding rds. Vote her out in May!
