I second the motion. Kids aren’t changing their behaviour cause there is no consequences. Kids swearing left right and centre, using slurs, getting violent. It’s spiralling and putting everyone at risk. #onted #onpoli
Hearing from my old colleagues in #onted secondary schools that when teachers are away, gr 11 and 12 classes are now being cancelled - and not infrequently- due to exhausting on calls and no supply teachers in the system. Is this happening everywhere in Ontario?
@JBradshaw01 Ford gov has taken over $1.3 billion out of public education funding & deliberately hid his cuts under a “Planned Provision” item! Ford has cut $1500 per student in #Onted funding since 2018. There is no transparency. Cell phones and vaping announcements serve to distract us.

@Sflecce @RaymondChoPC Oh! Question, Mr. minister of Education, why are we still waiting for resources for destreamed classes? Why are we waiting for funding for more educators? And why do you continue to say things are happening when they aren’t? Asking as someone keeping #OntEd afloat.
