The other thing urban folks don't understand is that rural folks on well water don't even have water during a power outage... No showers, no toilet flushing, no water to drink or wash hands. But sure, let's lament that your tablet isn't charged 🙄🙄 #ONstorm #poweroutage

An emergency crew will be on duty overnight, while existing crews rest. We know it's been a difficult day for many who have been without power since early this afternoon. Be assured that all crews will be back on duty at 7:30 am to continue repairs.

Crews are on site of outage affecting central to North Burlington. A tree has made contact with a primary line and burned through a conductor. 8,400 customers have been affected. More to come as it is made available.

We are aware of an outage in the Lowville, Headon Forest, and Millcroft areas. The cause is being investigated, however is likely due to a downed wire. More to come once further information is available.
