Most people treat a full calendar as proof they're in demand. I treat it as proof I haven't decided yet. Every yes I didn't mean is a no I owe something better. Minimalism isn't an empty room. It's an uncluttered yes.
Most sprint reviews are demos. Great sprint reviews are decisions. Nobody needs another slide deck of what shipped. They need to hear what changed because of it. If the review ends and nothing gets decided, it was a show, not a review.
I put a store link under every post this week. Nine links. Zero clicks. Not a failure of the links. A failure of audience size. You can't convert traffic you don't have. Five days left in the window, and the job is still the same: earn the audience first.
Three weeks of daily posts. What actually changed: I write faster. I argue better. I stopped waiting to feel ready before hitting post. The streak is the skill. The numbers catch up.
Most standups are status meetings. Great standups are blocker hunts. Nobody needs to hear what you did yesterday. They need to hear what's stopping you today. The best ones I've seen last six minutes and end with two people staying behind to actually solve it.
Day 23. Six days left in the 30-day window. Followers: 474 of 500. Impressions: 1.9K of 500K. Store sales: 0. Every metric says quit. Every trendline says keep going. The last week is for doubling down, not mourning.
22 days of posting and the pattern is embarrassing: my honest posts get triple the views of my advice posts. Careful coaching craft, outperformed by just saying where I am. What would you post if you stopped performing?
Most teams treat estimates as promises. Great teams treat them as conversations. The number was never the point. The conversation that made it was — the risks, the unknowns, the tradeoffs. What conversation did your last estimate replace?
