One thing I’ll always love and admire about myself is that no matter how badly I’ve been treated, how deeply I’ve been hurt, or what I’ve had to endure, I’ve never lost the goodness in my heart. I still have so much love to give, and no matter what life throws at me, I refuse to let it harden me. That’s a part of me no one will ever be able to take away.

I truly believe that before God prepares you for what belongs to you, He starts by removing your comfort. He tests your patience. He isolates you. He asks your faith to hold steady when nothing else can. None of it is punishment. Before He hands you the life you have been dreaming of, He has to build the version of you strong enough to actually live it

the only thing i know is this: i am full of wounds and still standing on my feet. i’ve been through things i never thought i’d survive, carried pain i couldn’t explain, and faced days when simply getting out of bed felt like an achievement. somehow, i’m still here, still trying, still hoping that life will get softer with time. maybe i’m not completely healed yet, but i’m proud of myself for continuing, even when it hurts.
