Something is missing from VR, so we've built the solution: BRIJ! It'll be the best way for developers to reach active VR players, and I can't wait for it to soon be live! In the meantime, please enjoy my TikTok spreading the word!

BRIJ: the universal, in-world social feed where players share moments and VR games go viral. Until now, powerful game network effects have been locked in closed platforms like Roblox and RecRoom. BRIJ makes those same benefits accessible to any developer by integrating into

Both the Aztecs and Egyptians built pyramids without any contact with one another. Similarly, both Gorilla Tag players and VRChat players congregate around mirrors in VR while being very different demographics. I think there's something there. In VR worlds, BRIJ is found discreetly on a mirror in social spaces.

The BRIJ photo feed appears inside immersive VR worlds. We learned from VRChat and Gorilla Tag that mirrors tend to congregating players, so you'll find BRIJ on a mirror in a social space. Developers can customize it to fit stylistically with their game.

I think these games have kernels of the future of immersive VR gaming… Gorilla Tag Test Pilots (in VRChat) Player-made Rec Room worlds Walkabout Minigolf Gun Raiders … We built BRIJ (coming Feb) with this category in mind, hyped to be kicking it off soon!

I think BRIJ will quickly become the single greatest addition for a developer to make to help their VR game get big.

BRIJ gives players a camera to post with. Posts are linked with their origin worlds, making exploration through BRIJ easy. This does two incredible things for developers: 1. It makes it really easy for players to discover and try your game. 2. It turns your players into content creators, spreading the word about your game on BRIJ and beyond.

NEW: The latest on the impending Apple Watch ban in the US. Apple is working on a software fix, I’m told, that it believes will mitigate the issue. Masimo believes a hardware fix will be required. It’s up to the US Customs agency to decide. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…
