Canada didn’t “conquer” anyone. Colonizers were both in partnership and conflict with Indigenous groups and different times. Those relationships were settled through treaties—violations of those documents or expansion onto unceded land violate our base ideas of rule of law.

It’s actually crazy how little the Ontario Legislature sits. Like, 20 weeks at most? We are so lazily governed and it shows. Politicians will tell you parliament doesn’t really matter (because they made it not matter). There should be more anger from the public about this.

The irony is not lost on anyone that the only age bracket that comes close to breaking even on whether the Canadian economy is good or bad, is the age bracket that's no longer in the workforce
