en.gamegpu.com/news/igry/gejm… A Reddit user announced a complete transition to a personal computer. The gamer officially abandoned his PlayStation 5 gaming console. The paid premium status in the service remains active until 2054. The player bought services thirty years in advance. The reason for leaving was the news about the end of physical discs by 2028. This decision pushes players to switch to open PCs. #games #gamer #consoles #playstation #pc #news #tech

Digital-only PlayStation can severely restrict access for millions of players as PlayStation Store is not available in 121 countries🚀 ✅121 countries (more than half of world countries) world might lose access to legally/officially buy from PlayStation Store ✅These regions currently rely on physical discs ✅Eliminating disc drives without expanding PS Store would leave these players without a reliable way to purchase new games ✅PlayStation Store officially operates in just 69 countries ✅If the PS6 removes the disc drive entirely, millions of players worldwide could lose their primary method of acquiring games unless Sony expands its digital storefront ✅PlayStation also has no way to transfer or migrate accounrs, so if you move to a country with its own store, you’d have to repurchase all your games if you want to legally continue to play and use a local bank to pay PlayStation 6, with a projected $1000 price tag and a more limited market doesn’t seem off to a very good start. Keep up the pressure FOR ALL GAMERS NO DISC 💿 NO BUY
🔵 PlayStation is delisting all PS3 and PS Vita storefronts, removing 500+ videos and sunsetting discs 🟢 Meanwhile Xbox is giving 25 Year old OG Xbox games Achievements, making Xbox games compatible with PC and giving them a free 4K update ..and people wonder why I prefer Xbox
Fans have flooded PlayStation’s YouTube and social media posts with demands not to abandon physical media. No matter what Sony uploads, game trailers, PS Plus videos, or hardware announcements they are getting spammed with the same message: “Keep physical games.” The campaign has spread so widely that almost every new PlayStation video is now filled with comments about physical games instead of the actual content.
How to get The Twins' 2 Psychubes? PS: Upgrade "The Dance of Science" with its corresponding materials, which can be obtained for free in the "Back To Chelomey" event. Remember not to use your own materials. #Reverse1999
MY GOODNESS!!!! This is major @PlayStation!! 👑🙏🏾 Nothing is Given. Everything is Earned. 💪🏾 #PlayStationPlaymakers #ad direct.playstation.com/en-us/accessor…
This is an astonishing statistic. Me calling the physical userbase on PS5 "vanishingly small" may actually be underselling it. (Mat clarified this is for all games from all pubs on PS.) I'm wishing my physical brethren the very best in their fight, but it ain't looking good.
The data is showing the opposite of the Physical media movement. Hard for a business to justify something when consumers have spoken with their wallet.
No, the movement to push back against Sony isn’t “losing momentum”🚀 ✅Sony is posting much more often so the comments per post are less, because they’re spread out ✅No players aren’t “moving on” ✅Reports from @mooreslawisdead state that many game studios paying thousands to promote their games on PlayStation channels are furious because each post is flooded with angry replies and community notes No matter how hard Sony’s sock puppet media tries to downplay valid fan criticism, KEEP UP THE PRESSURE and DON’T GIVE UP This isn’t just about nostalgia This isn’t just about CD This is about: ✅Ownership ✅Refusing a monopoly ✅Maintains trading & 2nd hand market ✅Never losing games due to their potential removal from stores, account loss, moving to different regions or being unable to access games where PS Store doesn’t exist NO DISC 💿 NO BUY
#NoDiscNoMoney
Marvel's Wolverine unleashes September 15 on PS5: play.st/4bvqEeF
DAY 21. SONY'S SILENCE HOLDS three weeks since the disc announcement. sony has said nothing. the community's answer: - the petition just crossed 336,000 signatures. slower now, but climbing every day - community notes follow sony's posts like a shadow - comments demanding discs outnumber the likes under sony's own posts - the wolverine trailer: 12,000+ comments, the vast majority about discs - even the ps plus cancellation threats changed nothing. analysts' verdict: sony "will not reverse" - digital is "just too lucrative" sony's playbook is obvious: say nothing, wait for exhaustion. the flaw: every new post resets the clock. each trailer, each promo - a fresh referendum. sony went quiet to avoid saying the wrong thing. community notes now say it for them.
