Disabled people shouldn't be having to worry about the weather getting colder because they can't afford the heating. Imo there should be social tariffs that ensure disabled people never pay more than the "average" home of the same size, to ensure they can use what they need.

Hard agree. You cannot “motivate” someone out of long term/terminal illness or disability. Taking away people’s welfare when they have medically proven they cannot reliably work much - or at all - is nothing short of evil. What employer will take them on? #CareNotCuts

Disabled people deserve more than the bare minimum to survive (not that many even get that)... They deserve to have enough to try and find their best quality of life, to have support, and whatever they need to manage their health. They deserve to be and feel safe.

Abled folk... You have no fucking idea what we have to do every day just to survive. You see our "free car" and "taxpayer funded life" and assume we are living a peaceful, good life. When actually we're severely unwell, in pain, and unable to function 99% of the time.
