Perfection ✨

Take a bow, Dom 🫰✨

18 years ago, we were in the League Two relegation zone fighting our 17 point deduction. Now, we have our Europa League fixtures. UP THE CHERRIES ❤️🖤

The accusation that I am antisemitic is appalling and fundamentally dishonest. Criticizing the actions of the Israeli prime minister, a military technology contract, or the executives who supply it is not the same as criticizing Jewish people. This critical and necessary dialogue is then dishonestly framed as being anti-Israel. To be clear, my views come from my own political convictions and should never be interpreted as hostility toward Jewish people, for whom I have deep love and respect.  Everything I know about acting, activism, and humanism has been profoundly shaped by the Jewish friends, colleagues, and loved ones who have been integral and family throughout every point of my life. This merger has real consequences for real people, and for the entire country. Scrutinizing the Ellisons, including Oracle’s business built on data, surveillance technology and government contracts, and the serious threat to editorial freedom and the loss of a livelihood for thousands of families, is fair and necessary. The $111 billion deal would hand one family control over CNN, HBO and Warner Bros., backed in part by foreign money whose influence on editorial decisions has never been fully explained to the public.  Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have called for serious national security review, and regulators still haven’t given the public a real answer. Until they do, the merger shouldn’t move forward. Now is the time to dive boldly into all these issues, not step back or concede.

Ruben Neves on Diogo Jota 💔 “I still talk to him. Few people know this. We have a WhatsApp group with Rute and Diogo, and it's still there, and we continue to talk there. Whenever something special happens, I have the conversations archived on my WhatsApp so I can continue to send him messages” “It was very difficult. The day after the news, for me, is the most difficult day of my life. The most important aspect for me to be able to play was wanting to play for Diogo first” - Sic Alta Definição

A person who means so much to so many. Thank you for everything, Robbo ❤️

It feels special when a player arrives, yet bittersweet when they go, because every goodbye takes away a piece of the journey you enjoyed watching. 💔

Virgil van Dijk scores in the 100th minute! 🤯

The celebrations from Real Sociedad fans after their winning penalty in the Copa del Rey Final against Atletico Madrid last night. How could you not love football? Magic.

With the heaviest of hearts and an overwhelming sense of surrealism that Macclesfield FC can confirm the passing of 21-year-old forward Ethan McLeod. Travelling back from Bedford Town last night, Ethan was involved in a car accident on the M1 which tragically took his life. Ethan was an incredibly talented and well-respected member of our First Team Squad, who had his whole life ahead of him. But more than that, Ethan’s infectious personality endeared him to everyone that he came into contact with. In giving his all in everything he did, Ethan effortlessly pushed us all to be the best we can be - both on and off the pitch. Ethan’s professionalism and unwavering work ethic inspired everyone, and his lust for life put smiles on all our faces - even on the darkest of days. News of Ethan’s passing has devastated our entire Club and no words can convey the immense sense of sadness and loss that we feel now. The deep mental scars elicited from Ethan’s passing will undeniably never heal - but one thing is for sure, and that is Ethan’s vibrant legacy will never fade, no matter how much time passes in the future. Ethan will live in our hearts and minds forevermore and no matter what the future holds, his unique smile that mesmerised us all will never be forgotten. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Ethan’s family and friends at this deeply traumatic time, together with an assurance that we will provide as much support as we can to those who need it. May you rest in peace Ethan - you will forever be a Silkman.

I have an employee, Sarah, who has been my right hand for 6 years. She opens the shop, closes the shop, and treats the business like it's her own. Yesterday, she came into my office shaking, handing me a resignation letter. She said her mom was diagnosed with dementia and she needs to become a full-time caregiver because she can't afford a nurse. I tore up the letter. I told her, 'You are not quitting. You are on paid leave until you figure this out. Your job will be here, and your paycheck will hit your account every two weeks.' I’d rather take a hit to my profits than lose a loyal human being to a tragedy she didn't ask for. Good people are hard to find, we have to protect them

In a era where most fans aren’t rationale, it’s nice to see palace fans act normal and wish their player well!

"When Liverpool come calling, it's really hard to resist" ❤️

Forever our number 20… ❤️
